"Tch! What--?!" Helen sensed something but looked at the Meta's reaction to his pain. "Sorry about this Meta but..." She ran closer to the Meta to lift him up and keep running, slowly accelerating.

The Meta growled, but he knew he couldn't run anymore. He relaxed slightly, and closed his eyes.

"Hang in there Meta..." Helen looked back once more. "And you too, kid..."

There was then another sound of insane laughter, along with a warm laughter from another...

The Meta growled again at the insane laughter. He opened his eyes and looked back at where Gigi was. He was only slightly worried about her.

As Helen followed the trail, the laughter of two voices faded gradually.

The Meta relaxed as the laughing faded, and he mentally sighed. He wasn't very happy about being carried. He lightly growled, complaining.

After a while, Helen made it to the next city, already half-destroyed. She puts the Meta down. "We'll rest here. We're safe for now."

Gigi clashes with the being; distorted, previously in pain, angered, and full of sorrow. The being was a woman that turned into a horrible creature with blades protruding out of its body. It was a horrid and deadly sight, and Gigi must defeat a living weapon. When the creature tooka hold of her and pinned her against a tree, she spoke about many things. "It feels so much better now, being finally awakened! Your wounds. You look half dead. Awaken and it will all go away..."

The Meta sat down almost immediatly, and checked over his wounds. He looked at his ace first, with his visor, and saw it was fine. He rubbed his throat, the old scars throbbing from saying one word. He then looked at his side, and rubbed the armor there. He growled, and leaned back.

"They pretty much ambushed you without reason, so it seems. Just after watching that." Helen said, looking towards the general direction where Gigi and the creature was.

The Meta growled and clenched his fists angered by the memory. All he was doing was sitting under a tree, then they randomly attack him. He cracked his knuckles, then stretched until he felt the muscles being pulled. He then got his anger under control, and mentally sighed.
