Helen ran beside The Meta, leaving Gigi to slow down completely to a halt, waiting for something to come at her. "Poor kid. Hope she gets out alive." Helen said.

The Meta raised an eye brow, confused at what was happening. "What?" He coughed out. It sounded like he was choking.

Helen looked at the Meta, surprised. "Huh? Oh. That thing that laughed back there was someone who's about to go insane. She emitted an energy that only us half-Yoma, or greater, can feel. And it seems she's about to release her true monster self any moment." Helen took a glimpse back at Gigi until she was out of sight. "The voice called Gigi to kill her before that happens."

The Meta nodded, understanding some of it. He slowed down slightly, and growled in pain quietly.

I can't believe he had the ability to speak now, Helen thought as she slowed down to match the Meta's pace. "Is everything alright?"

The Meta nodded, and glanced at his side. It wasn't bleeding, and he mentally sighed with relief. He quickened his pace again, his wound throbbing.

Helen sighed, worried about the Meta and only caught up with him a little, also uneasy about what was happening between Gigi and the monster. There was suddenly a roar, followed by laughter, that came from not far away, where Gigi was.

The Meta muttered something under his breathe quietly, and held his side as he ran next to Helen. He growled slightly as he heard the laughter.

Helen growled. "That frickin'--Oh great..." The sound of clashing blades sounded in the distance. "Now she's gonna fight the punk. With her energy...? Dangit..." Helen started to speak to herself, sensing much energy next to a smaller figure emitting less energy than it.

The Meta stopped. The pain was getting to intense to keep running. He growled, and looked at the cut in his armor. How they were able to cut through his armor, he didn't know. All he did know was that they owed him a lot of money to fix it.
