"Yeah, I guess he did, but maybe he wasn't after me. He was trying to take your powers to begin with," Peter replied before seeing the S.H.I.E.L.D base up ahead. "The others will actually be impressed. They were trying to hold me back. Nobody ever seems to believe in me," He grumbled softly.

"Well they're that way with every new recruit. You just gotta prove to them that your capable of doing it. Trust me, it may suck at first, but in truth, its just helping you to become a better Avenger." Tikal noted. There was something odd about this battle. It seemed so easily won...but why?

Peter landed neatly on the ledge of the building and looked toward Clint and Natasha before setting Tikal down. "See, I'm capable of saving people," He remarked to them, saying perched on the ledge. "Whoever those villains were they were no match for me to begin with. They didn't even see me coming," He boasted.

Clint directed his attention toward Peter and raised a brow. "I wouldn't get so cocky. Something doesn't seem right about this. You're back far too quickly. Don't your spider senses tell you when something isn't right?" He questioned. He glanced over his shoulder at Natasha, wondering if she was feeling the same way he was about this. It seemed all so unreal. Something had to be up, but he just didn't know what it was.

Tikal looked at Peter. He wasn't that cocky. At all. "You ok Pete?" she asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Venom had been altered by Mesmero. It was made to give Peter all of those attributes of strength and also enhancing his emotions, especially that of anger, but also to take control of him. It had spread to some parts of the suit already, but it was unnoticeable.

Peter looked toward Clint. "I think you're just jealous because I actually did something you couldn't do," He sassed. He could feel the change, but it didn't really bother him all that much. "And I'm just fine Tikal. I don't see why I wouldn't be," He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Clint glared toward the boy. "I could have done it just as easily as you could have. Don't under estimate me Parker," He fired back. This sudden change in the boy only got him thinking something was wrong for sure, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He knew it wasn't like Peter to act like this, but yet he didn't know Peter all that well so maybe he was wrong about him.

Natasha watched as Peter resurfaced in front of them; impressed but dubious. "Peter, you did an excellent job in getting Tikal back.." Tasha started, looking the boy over quickly but seeing nothing different she could pick up on. "But Clint's right.. The battle was too easily won." The Widow sighed, looking to Clint quickly before turning back to Peter.

Peter looked toward Natasha. "Of course you're going to side with Clint. I should have expected nothing less from you two. I do something good and apparently the battle is won too easily for me. I see how it is. Maybe I should just go before something bad happens then. If you think they'll come here for me, then I'll just leave. You guys don't have to worry about anything. I'll handle this by myself just like I have with everything else I've done," He replied before turning away from them, staying perfect perched on the ledge. Quickly, he aimed a web toward a taller nearby building and jumped down, swinging off.

"Something is not right with him. From what I've heard about him he's normally a lot kinder than that and he just takes pride in what he does, but doesn't brag about it like that," Clint commented. "Do you think it's smart letting him go or should I shoot him down before he gets too far?" He asked as he looked over his shoulder at Natasha.

Natasha hesitated, watching as Peter swung off again. Turning to look at Clint as he spoke, Nat nodded - this was certainly not in character for Peter. When the question of whether or not to shoot him down arose, Tasha bit down on her lip - quickly glancing over to Tikal to read her expression, but finding no help there. "He's going to hate us; but we can't let him go like this." The Widow stated, walking to Clint shoulder and watching Parker from there. "Shoot him down."

"No!" Tikal said, her strength somewhat recovered. "Please don't hurt him. I know he's being really weird, but we really can't hurt him. I mean who knows what he'll do once he's hurt? I mean there's just something so weird about it, but I just feel like we shouldn't hurt him." she noted.

Once Peter was off, the venom had already fully covered all of his suit, giving all of the altered powers he needed. Of course, it made him more bossier and a bit not really wanting to listen to anyone really. But before the venom was place on Spiderman, it was altered by Mesmero so that eventually, he would come to be under his control.

Clint scowled a bit. "Fine. I won't," He mumbled before looking out and noticed the sudden change in Peter's suit, even though he was quite aways away. "Something is up for sure. Either that or he changed his suit while I wasn't looking," He commented. That's when he remember that Steve was off to go and find him. "Guys, we should probably find Cap and tell him not to go after Parker."

Peter felt all the power surge through his body. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before. He liked it. I'll show those Avengers that I can do things by myself, He thought as he continued to swing. That's when he noticed the change in his suit. "Black? What is going on?" He muttered under his breath to himself.
