Zectrom and Crush finally made their way back to their old "base" if that's what you could manage to call it. "Alright we're here now!" Zectrom yelled to the darkness in front of them. He dropped Tikal's somewhat lifeless body on the ground and stood still.

Crush sighed and stepped over Tikal. "We got the information. And the specimen as well. I expect them to be arriving here any moment now. The way they look, they have no clue what they're up against." she smirked.

Mesmero stepped out of the shadows. "You've done good. I'm almost at my full power. Just a couple more minutes to pass by, and all that girl's powers will be mine. And when the pesky Spiderman gets here, then we'll just be able to take over him easier then I expected." he said, holding the specimen of Venom is his hands.

(Yup~ If you're talking about the one from Spiderman 3 I do~)

Peter spotted the group out of the corner of his eye and landed neatly on a lamp post. "What in the world are they doing?" He mumbled to himself. That's when Mesmero caught his eyes. That's the guy from earlier. He's behind all of this. I should have guessed! He really wants us gone or something, He thought in anger. He didn't understand why Mesmero was after him, but he was going to far with it that's for sure. He was going after what little connection he even had with the Avengers to begin with.

"I can't believe he will actually fall for this." Mesmero laughed. "It's almost TOO easy!' he said, pacing back and forth. "And in due time, the girl will soon give me all of her powers. But I suppose he will come here, save her, but we've got him here."

(Yeah I've seen all the Spiderman's even though it's been awhile since I've seen the older 3)

Peter scowled as he over heard what Mesmero said. Well I'm not going to let that happened. You're not keeping Tikal and you're sure as hell not getting me that easily, He thought in frustration. Carefully, he aimed his hand at Tikal and quickly shot a web out, hoping to hit his target and pull it in quickly so he could take off right away, not giving them much of a chance to attack him.

The web met its target, but also, the shadow that had been draining the energy from Tikal. It came off, and with it, Tikal as well, in Peter's direction. She was still unconscious, but her face was starting to return to its original color again.

Mesmero anticipated this and quickly dissapeared, and then reappeared behind Peter, carefully placing Venom on his suit, unnoticed as he dissapeared again, leaving him alone with Tikal.

Zectrom aimed a lightinign bolt at Peter, hoping to get the annoying boy.

Peter saw the lightning coming at him and he jumped down quickly, shooting a web up at a nearby building. He held Tikal close as he began swinging up into the air. "That was easier than I thought," He mumbled to himself. "The others will be surprised when I come back and I have Tikal with me. I bet they doubted me," He sighed.

Tikal felt herself almost somewhat flying through the air. She was getting better now. "W-what?' she said quietly. She opened one eye to see Peter. "What happened?" she said, closing her eyes again. She blushed, knowing she was THAT close to Peter. It made her feel all weird inside.

Venom hid in part of Peter's costume, ready to take over as soon as he was alone.

Natasha starter to frown, turning to watch Clint as he moved away - biting down on her bottom lip as she thought about Parker and what he was saying. "Stark usually has his own schedule." Nat muttered, sighing lightly as she shifted her gaze from Clint back to Steve - looking for answers about what to do. "If that's the case, we're going to have to find him." The Widow stated, inwardly cringing at how useless what she was saying was. "Has he got anything on him we can track?" She asked, breaking her frown into a more hopeful faical expression.

"Well some strange villains attacked and took you for Mesmero and I came and got you back even though Natasha tried to stop me. I wasn't going to let some stupid villains take away my friend. I've already lost enough in this world to begin with," Peter informed her as they continued to swing.

Clint turned to face the two once more. "I doubt that. Only Fury would know to begin with. He personally does the tracking on anyone and everyone that S.H.I.E.L.D wants to keep an eye on," He replied. "We'd be able to access that if Tony was around, yet again he's not and we don't have time to find him so basically Parker is in big trouble," He added bluntly.

"We're Avengers for goodness sake. We will not allow him to get hurt," Steve said before turning toward the stairs leading up to the roof. "Now I'm going to go and find him because that's what we do as Avengers. We protect others. If you two don't want to come, then fine. I'll be there to help him," He added before pulling open the door.

"Wow that's...really sweet." Tikal said, closing her eyes. "I never remember being important to anyone. At all. I seriously thought I was a goner. But don't you think he let you off too easy? I mean he's pretty ruthless.." sh e said, her hair blowing back as they were swinging through the air.
