Ryu smirked, then seemed to think for a moment. "So, if you do get thrown in any way, you want to land correctly. If you are being thrown in a way that you land on your back, make sure your back hits first and you keep your chin tucked in...You do this for two reasons. One being if you land on your back then you run less of a risk of injuring your tailbone and making it like hell to walk and sit. Two being if you don't tuck in your chin, you run the risk of getting whiplash." He walked up closer to her. "So I'm going perform a move on you and you should remember what I've just told you." He said. "Oh, and if your opponent is holding your arm when he throws you, and doesn't let go immediately, you can always pull him to the ground to if you have your wits enough together." He added. "At the same time, I'll be teaching you a move...Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to throw someone as big as me, or bigger." He said, smirking. "Now, the first I'll teach you is a simple throw. You take the opponents shoulder in your right hand and the elbow with your left, then you swing your right leg behind their's and..." He did all these things to her as he spoke. "Push them over it." He finished, doing just that so she fell to the ground.

Alyce listened attentively, whilst priding herself on the fact that she was only fidgeting a little. She always fidgeted when she grew nervous. Usually Alyce solved this by playing with her lighter, but she'd left that with her other weapons, so her knees twitched instead. When Ryu took her down with the demonstrated throw, Alyce managed to maneuver herself to land correctly. That, at least, was something she did know how to do. Standing up and brushing herself off a bit, Alyce mimicked what she'd been shown on the (awfully convenient and not before mentioned) dummy that stood near the pair. She thought she had executed every step perfectly, until she found herself on the ground again. She huffed in annoyance, looking up at the ceiling from her back. Suddenly she remembered why she didn't like hand-to-hand combat. Sighing, she pulled herself back onto her feet, her eyes silently daring her 'teacher' to laugh.
