Blaze started when Kaile woke up, looking alarmed. "What's wrong?" he asked, sitting up and pulling her into his arms. He wiped away her tears with a gentle hand, staring into her eyes with his own alarmed amber ones.
Caleb lept to the side, grabbing Angel's arm and twisting it behind his back. "You should learn to be nicer," he growled.
