Kyler stood in the middle of Kojaku and the vampire, "Sit down and leave her alone or get out of my house." he growled.
The vampire sat back down, "A little protective aren't we?"

Kojaku sat back down a pushed back her bangs. One of the other vampires laughed,amused at the little human. "You seriously thought you were gonna take on a full grown vampire?" She smiled back and shrugged.

Kyler growled at both of them and stood behind Kojaku's chair, "Shut up! Both of you."

Kojaku Looked up at Kyler,her eyebrows pushed together in worry. ONe of them asked," Kyler! What's with you?"

"Nothing okay." Kyler growled. He looked down at Kojaku and sighed.

She looked up at him,her eyes softening when he looked back down at her. She put a hand on his forearm,trying to fix whatever was wrong.

Kyler smiled at Kojaku and relaxed. He sank into the chair next to her and sighed.
"I get it now. Your attached to your little slave." his friend said.
Kyler growled, "She isn't my slave!"

Kojaku reddened at the term being so carelessly thrown around,and not because she was embarassed. But,she had decided that it was best that she kept quiet for now.

"Everyone out now." Kyler growled.
All his friends got up and left.
Kyler sank down into his chair and closed his eyes.

Kojaku played with her hair and plopped down in the chair next to him. "You okay?"
