Nathan picked up an egg gently, and then moved it to a more open space. He looked down, and saw that Elisa was missing. Frowning, he looked around. He moved to the enterance of the cave, and stcuk his head out. Seeing she was there, he shifted, and then sat next to her. 'I'm sorry. I should have thought about your feelings instead of mine. ELiza cried softly into her knees as she sat there not speaking

Nathan wasn't sure why to do. Timidly, he put his arm around her shoulder and said 'We're not alone anymore.' quietly in her ear. He hugged her close to him.

Eliza weakly pushed against Nathan crying. "No, you have your kids, i'm just someone to tack onto your life" her grey eyes were filled with pain, tears, and hurt.

Nathan looked at her with a pained expression. 'Eliza, I...' he let her push him away and let her go. 'Eliza, my kind are not meant to meet, let alone reproduce. This has never happened before, they may not even live'. He voice caught slightly. He looked down at his battered shoes. 'I want to be here for you as much as for them.'

Eliza curled up away from Nathan crying softly. she wanted so badly to just shift and fly far away and find one of the many males who had tried to kill her and let them do what they wanted. her heart was too weak to go threw what it was going threw right now

Nathan closed his eyes. 'I'm sorry' he repeated. He looked at her for a few minutes, and then said 'please don't go' quietly

Eliza stood crying and trembled "Nathan,I can't stay....you already have your heart filled by your kids! I can't compete with family."

Nathan shook his head. 'Your wrong.' he said simply. These offspring were not like him. They had no human firm, therefore little human emotions.

ELiza screamed and shifted into her dragon form. she dug her ivory nails into the ground growling. her eyes still held tears in them. she shot up into the sky, but before her tail passed him it wrapped around his body and brought him up into the sky with her
