She has a condition called Synesthesia, which causes her to see colors that match up to certain sounds or letters. For instance, her name is teal with bright yellow polka dots, and Zeke's voice leaves purple waves in the air.
Also, her and Zeke were born on New Years around midnight, so not only were they born on different days but also different years.

Zoe is in life to have fun. In her eyes, she can do what she wants when she wants. She is looked at as nice, sweet, and funny, but she can also be a troublemaker, and at times she's a brat when she doesn't get what she wants. Her and her twin brother, Zeke, are very close, yet they make fun of each other a lot and get into tons of fights. She thinks she's always right and is stubborn, and is quick with a comeback. She's not afraid to express herself, and if you don't like it, she doesn't think you're worth the time. In her eyes, life's a party, and she's just a guest.

Zeke's a flirt, and he isn't afraid to show it. He's always a gentleman, though, and respects girls. Sometimes when he's flirting, he doesn't even realize he's doing it and ends up making his girlfriend jealous. He likes making people laugh and smile, and friends and family are very important to him. He's very loyal to them, and he won't let anyone he cares about get pushed around. This being said, he still likes to make jokes at the expense of his sister, and they fight a lot.
He doesn't care about other people's opinions of him and is pretty crazy when he's trying to make people laugh. When other people are happy, he's happy, so he will do anything to make them smile.
