Nyssa paused for a second- but not like the times before. She wasn't staring off into space- she was thinking. "I dunno. I guess I'll be kinda skeptical until I see a magical orb floating above me." She stated, shrugging slightly.

Aurora gasped, stepping back to get a good look at the orb. "Mother." She whispered, her eyes shinning with delight. "I knew it!" She cheered, beaming happily. "We just found out your god parent."

Poppy shrugged and turned to Jacky "Ok, would you like visions you'd see in nightmares? You know, like, bloody visions with guts and gore or would you like a nice meadow with butterflies and flowers and all that over-rated stuff?" She raised an eyebrown and smiled at her, twirling her hair in her fingers. "Or would you like to take the easy way and let me engulf you in shadows for a moment?"
Alex laughed weakly and sighed "And you said I was being rude." he said jokingly. Then he told Jacky, "Wait until you see what she has to show you. You better hope you're lucky and she doesn't show you something that'll scar you for life like she did for me. Of course, at that point, I'd already been scarred so it didn't make much of a difference. And about the Underworld? Don't knock it 'till you've tried it. It's pretty beautiful. I mean, all the trees are dead and there are no plants except in Persephone's garden which should die when she's gone...but it doesn't... It's a pretty impressive land of dead people. Their murmers and whispers and chattering make me fall asleep down there when I need to rest. It's great."
Poppy snorted at Alex "If you weren't temporarily crippled, I would slap you. Eat your dinner or something. Stop being an idiot."
Alex rolled his eyes at Poppy "Of course, your highness."

Strix looked at Melanie Hrm. Yes, well I doubt anyone's going to die in my absence. Can't you just do something with your magical demigod powers? I expect that Poppy's there. She should be able to do the trick. Or Taylor, really. He said in her mind as he was nippling on bits of his salad. Upsi rolled her eyes and patted Strix "He's right, you know? You could just as easily show her. Anyone could. Get a Pegasus in there or something. Or ask Taylor to give her a good shock." Upsi smiled and sipped at her Diet Coke. "If all else fails...I don't think Strix would do the trick" she laughed.

"Taylor blew away clouds like that fast." she snapped her fingers. "And she still didn't belive us! She said like, the wind blew them away, Tay made the wind!" Melanie sighed. "Me, I don't think making some sunshine would convince her. Maybe Poppy could though.." She said, thinking. "Ok, bye! Thanks!" she called over her shoulder, already running back. She burst into the infirmirary. "Strixy said you should prove it to her." Melanie said, looking at Poppy.

Theo sighed. "Look, maybe you should let us show you our powers, maybe get a sign from your god parent?"

"That's a good idea." Melanie said. Then she turned to Jacky. "Ok so my dad is the sun god. So I can do this." she opened the door and stapped outside, only far enough so she could still be seen from inside. She summoned sunlight. It burst through a small dark cloud, evaporating it.
