Kanji sat by a wall, wrists hurting from the binds. She closed her eyes and silently sobbed, feeling sick. She let out a whimper. Cutting it off, she buried her head in her knees.

"Sold!?" And then it all flooded back to her, her memories crashing down on her like a tsunami. She had been the outcast anyway, the smartest in the smart class of her year, but with her intellect came a surprising lack of friends. "Oh," she finished simply, the fight draining from her entirely.

Dresyn sighed softly and whispered, "Welcome to it..." He curled up slightly as best as the chains would allow.

Markus gulped and opened his eyes as he looked up at her, his shoulders shaking in fear "you, you are?" he whimpered

"What... What're we here for? What's going on?" she just continued to ask, unsure whether or not to believe the boy's excuse, which just seemed so...unbelievable. "That's just... not possible..."

Where am I? Kanji thought, hoping this was some sort of cruel joke. I want to go home. She started to cry, hot tears streaming down her face.

Cyler caught him as best she could. She didn't really want him getting hurt. She led him up the stairs and into a room, laying him down. "Let's see your wounds."

Ayddin nodded and bit her lip. "Can you stand?" she hoped she wouldn't have to touch him at all to help, though she knew it was probably envitable.

"Anything's possible. I've already accepted this fate. As should you." Dresyn sighed softly.

Tally had absolutely no idea how long he'd been there, but it was obviously longer than she herself, so she fell silent, only hoping he knew what he was talking about.
