You guys don't have to read this book of the headmistress, haha. It's just there for plot reasons.))
Headmistress Avila
The headmistress was silent for the rest of the trip. The plane landed too soon. She yawned, popping her ears. Her guardian stood and exited the plane before returning a few moments later with the "OK." Avila made her way off the plane, careful not to trip and make a fool of herself with her heels. She found her hands in an elderly vampire's. "Ahh, Avila my dear. So good to see you again." The elderly vampire said, he brought her closer and kissed her cheeks french style. "You too Headmaster." She smiled respectfully. "Please dear, call me Augustus." He patted her hand and lead her to another limo. She scooted in, once again squishing shoulders with her guardian. He stayed put though, and she was the one to scoot over when Headmaster Augustus was in the limo. Him and his guardian sat across from Avila and her guardian as they took off toward the building the meeting would be held it. Avila shifted uncomfortably, and she crossed her legs, pulling her skirt down to cover her legs. "Would you care for a drink my dear?" Augustus asked, offering the headmistress a wine glass full of blood. Her eyes shifted to her guardian who immediately reached for the glass. He lifted it to his nose and took a tiny drink. A moment went by and nothing happened, eventually he handed it to Avila. "I do hope you don't find us rude, He- Augustus. Desperate times call for desperate measures as you well know." Avila gave the elder an apologetic look before taking a sip.Augustus shrugged, "No harm done I assure you, I would have done the same thing." By the time the headmistress finished her drink they pulled up to a large Victorian style
house. Avila set the glass down and waited for the door to be open. This time, her guardian didn't get out first to check around. Instead he stayed in the car, with Augustus' guardian. "We'll be here after the meeting ma'am." Her guardian promised. She nodded shortly and exited the limo. Together her and Augustus made their way up the steps into the home. Inside it had been completely gutted to create a large open room, the top floors had been removed to create a humungous ceiling. A large, round table sat in the middle of the room, and several vampires were seated in the medieval style chairs. Two spots were open, one for Augustus, and one for Avila. "Headmaster Augustus and Headmistress Avila have arrived!" A vampire shouted, this vampire sat in the largest seat, though he looked young, vibrant, he dressed as if he had just got done acting a play with Shakespeare. "Good evening Chairman Evander." Avila said as she took her seat. A werewolf who had obviously been sold to slavery came up immediately and offered her a glass of blood, or water. Avila kindly declined. Though she did her best to avoid staring at the werewolf, she failed. The werewolf girl's head was shaved completely bald, void of even stubble. Her eyebrows had been plucked into a thing line, creating the illusion of no emotion. Her face was hollow and she had a device on her ankle that prevented her from shifting. Her eyes though were that of a wolf. The headmistress turned her gaze from the girl, feeling a pang of reluctant guilt. "We can begin now at last yes?" A thick Russian accent asked. "Of course Headmistress Faina. We may begin." Chairman Evander responded. He stood from his chair and gestured his arms out. "Welcome my brothers and sisters."
Cyrus Rider
Cyrus swallowed. "They fight for freedom and equality. But I'm not so sure they'll ever achieve it." He whispered back. That's what he felt anyway. If you asked anyone else they would call the rebels savages that just enjoyed killing everyone. "They run in packs, like real wolves." He whispered again, pulling her closer, in an almost crushing hug.
