Valeriana clutched onto Sev's arm. She didn't know why, but she felt the need to fear Anril. Even if they were arguing for what they should be fighting for. She flinched slightly when the light came on and looked at it before looking back at Anril. She reached over to Anril's desk and pulled off a pen. She clicked it and did on thing, shooting the pen with full force into the light, breaking it into darkness again. "They will use any ploy to keep it dark for themselves. I'm not stupid, I'm trying to be rational about this." She looked at Anril and gripped onto Sev's arm to keep herself from saying something she would regret. "That was a little uncalled for. I'm willing to listen, if you are willing to take in the fact that they aren't just going to attack like an army. They will elude us, they will find any way to create shadows and make us weak. They won't attack head on. And this world is the same one that I was taken out of. More technology maybe, but still the same morals. I am trying to help. And I only argue because we need to take all perspectives of this. Not just one or two." She looked at Anril, her head slightly bowed. She felt the need to just leave the world again.
((I apologize. I might have been wrong. Had this idea that because they succumbed to the shadows and since that became a part of them, they use that to have power when shadows aren't around for them to use. Not a lot of power, but enough to keep them fighting. I'm sorry. I was kind of out of it while writing.))
Dresyn came beside her and came to one overgrowth and nudged her toward it. Here. We'll wait out here for a second. He looked at her and knew that he was more worried about her because that was where his concern laid. He looked at her and shifted, having scars and cuts that were starting to heal. "We'll be safe here for now." He rubbed her head gently. "Thank you Faith."
