Valeriana clutched onto Sev's arm. She didn't know why, but she felt the need to fear Anril. Even if they were arguing for what they should be fighting for. She flinched slightly when the light came on and looked at it before looking back at Anril. She reached over to Anril's desk and pulled off a pen. She clicked it and did on thing, shooting the pen with full force into the light, breaking it into darkness again. "They will use any ploy to keep it dark for themselves. I'm not stupid, I'm trying to be rational about this." She looked at Anril and gripped onto Sev's arm to keep herself from saying something she would regret. "That was a little uncalled for. I'm willing to listen, if you are willing to take in the fact that they aren't just going to attack like an army. They will elude us, they will find any way to create shadows and make us weak. They won't attack head on. And this world is the same one that I was taken out of. More technology maybe, but still the same morals. I am trying to help. And I only argue because we need to take all perspectives of this. Not just one or two." She looked at Anril, her head slightly bowed. She felt the need to just leave the world again.

((I apologize. I might have been wrong. Had this idea that because they succumbed to the shadows and since that became a part of them, they use that to have power when shadows aren't around for them to use. Not a lot of power, but enough to keep them fighting. I'm sorry. I was kind of out of it while writing.))

Dresyn came beside her and came to one overgrowth and nudged her toward it. Here. We'll wait out here for a second. He looked at her and knew that he was more worried about her because that was where his concern laid. He looked at her and shifted, having scars and cuts that were starting to heal. "We'll be safe here for now." He rubbed her head gently. "Thank you Faith."

Anril raised her other eyebrow. "All perspectives, yet yours is the only one that's right? Do tell me how that's worked out so well for you so far." She replied. "I'm sure because of your worldly views and many perspectives, you've avoided a lot of harm and problems that us narrow minded people have not." She said dryly. "Silly us, managing to survive without having to resort to running away to others or almost self inducing a blood frenzy. We should have tried it your way a long time ago." She tapped a button, and the door behind them open. "If you think you know better, do feel free to leave. If not, perhaps think that smashing a lightbulb isn't going to be as easy for the werewolves we've already trapped and imprisoned?" She gestured to the door. "Go on. I'm sure this world hasn't become even more corrupt and lazy and inept. All the good old fashioned morals still exist, somewhere. Maybe in some secluded village or monk's monastery. Here, you're out of your depth. You can either not do anything but argue because you have a preconceived notion about me and what I've done, and die, or you can actually listen and come see why we have survived so long without getting hurt or almost killing people in a blood frenzy." She smirked. "And all without your views. Imagine that." She pushed herself off the desk and walked down the hallways towards a side hallways for stairs. "Either follow or leave. It's your pride, not mine." She called over her shoulder.

Sev sighed slightly. "She's an a**, there's no two ways about it." He said softly, referring to Anril. "But she might have some idea of what to do for now..." He shook his head slightly. "We don't have many choices. It sounds like they already have a plan, and prisoners. We either stay and see how it goes, or leave and hope we can outrun everything forever." He didn't like the choices, but then again, he didn't like the situation.

Faith followed him into the foliage, and shifted back as well. "You're welcome. Thanks for not dying or anything." She replied, glancing down at his new wounds and such. "You alright, after that?" She asked.
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more:
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

"Life is as tedious as a twice-told tale,
Vexing the dull ear of a drowsy man."

Sermons in stones, and good in everything."

"I never said that my perspective was right. And I mean all perspectives. Not just your own view of just turning on a light will immediately make them weak. I don't say my perspective is right or wrong. It's one perspective." Valeriana grounded her teeth slightly. "Now you are just putting words in my mouth Anril. I didn't get to avoid harm and problems. I'm just as normal about suffering as the next person." Valeriana's eyes turned to the red color before she looked away. Her hand clenched at her side, shaking her head at the notion. "Trapping some werewolves doesn't mean that you can control the shadow wolves that want to take over. Don't you think that just because a few of them are out of their ranks and captured that they won't just level and kill us all, including those that were imprisoned?" She bore her fangs slightly and shook her head. "There is no surviving without getting hurt and suffering for it." She narrowed her eyes at Anril. "I don't toss my pride around in people's faces." She called back and clenched her hands tightly at her sides. She didn't want to think about that. Her anger had already flared past what it should have. She didn't even know why she was mad, but her anger bolstered in her. She looked at Sev and sighed softly, letting some of the anger go. She couldn't have her anger shoved at Sev. Would make the situation worse. "We're not going to outrun it." Her eyes went pitch black. "No more running. But I'm not staying with someone that cocky and that..." She tried to control her own temperament.

Dresyn looked at her and whispered, "I told you I wouldn't." He smiled softly and kissed the side of her head. "Don't worry about it. They'll heal. Just give them some time." He smiled at her and led her into the foliage and the cover that made it hard to peer in but not to peer out. He looked at her. "You alright?"

Sev sighed. "You're letting your anger get the better of you. You've been arguing with her this entire time, and coming across as she is wrong, not that you are trying to bring up another idea. You became aggressively defensive in your explanations, allowing her to exploit your anger with deft ease." He pointed out gently. "You're also starting to contradict yourself. Unless they fight as an army, they can't just come in and level us all. It can't be both, and you're too wound up in trying to prove both that she's wrong and that you're not trying to prove her wrong, that she can push you around easily enough, metaphorically speaking." He shrugged slightly. "Like I said, she's an a**. But I doubt her grand idea was as simple as shining a lightbulb on a few wolves. We also don't have many choices. Either we leave and try running, or we stay here. Unless you have an alternative, I'm not seeing many options with the shadow wolves being on a war-like rampage. They are like a horde of rogues now, but how long will that last? There's enough of them.. If they do rally together under a leader into some form of an army, we don't have much of a chance as we stand now."

Faith nodded. "Oh, I'm fine. All I had to do was stand there in your jacket and bikini bottoms and look pretty." She smirked slightly. "I'm sure I had little trouble doing that, so I'm fine. You're the one who decided to go get in the fights for me, so for now, I'm unharmed and just fine."

Valeriana put her face in her hands and grounded her teeth. Some of her anger had left her, but she still retained it. Her chewed on her lip and let tears out in frustration. She leaned against the desk and looked away. "Being rogue...." She grounded her teeth slightly. She tried to calm her own nerves and whispered, "You stay here then. I have a feeling that there is something else. Maybe there is something..." She clenched her hand and sighed softly. "Sev... I'm sorry." She looked away from him and bit her lip. She was shaking and trying to think of many reasons. There had to be some reformed werewolves. Maybe. She wasn't sure about that. She whispered, "I'm sorry..." She covered her face.

Dresyn looked at her and rubbed her back gently. "I'm sorry. I don't want to see you hurt." He kissed the top of her head and nuzzled into her hair. He kept thinking of the moment where she saved him. He was fortunate because of that. And he owed her his life. He looked at her and whispered, "As soon as I've healed up, we'll look for anyone that needs help. If shadow wolves are rebelling, there will be a lot of things that could happen."

Sev gently wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and holding her firmly there, protectively. "I'm not leaving you. My place is with you, I don't care what else happens; I'm not leaving you, not ever." He said, his voice as hard as steel, yet gentle as he spoke softly into Valeriana's ear. He wasn't sure what to do, but he had never meant to stay here anyways, not with Valeriana. He had too many memories here that he didn't like, and din't want to put Valeriana through. "If you want to leave, then we will, and I'm coming with you." His tone was as gentle and soft as ever, yet as firm and hard as steel with his determination.

Faith arched her back slightly, appreciatively, at his touch on her back, and nuzzled him back. "No worries, I know you just care, and you're more than capable of handling yourself. I'll be here to heal your wound and provide support, don't worry." She replied quietly, smiling. She was glad that she did have some skill at first aid, for if anyone was hurt, this was going to be a long night indeed.

Valeriana looked up at him when he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. She looked at him and bit her lip. "Sev..." She didn't want him coming with because she didn't want him getting hurt if something happened. She knew that there had to be someone who knew enough about Shadow wolves. She thought about the wolf that had been attacked when she was in her frenzy. She knew that he might have answers since he seemed just as surprised to see them, but understood them she guessed. She looked at him and blinked slightly at his voice. She looked at him and hugged him tightly. She was glad that he was at least her. That was something that she would have someone be there for her. She looked at him and whispered, "Ok..." She knew that she wanted to help, but she couldn't follow Anril's methods. She looked at the door and bit her lip.

Dresyn watched her and smiled softly, nuzzling her gently. "I wish that were the case. He almost had a good grip on me." He looked at her and kissed the side of her head. "Thank you." He found relief that she was at least going to be there. He smiled and rested his head on her shoulder. He kept thinking that the shadow wolves wouldn't give up until they had control. He knew that walking away had it's consequences, but he wouldn't allow them to bother Faith.

Sev followed her glance towards the door. "Shall we go?" He asked softly. He wanted nothing more than to hold Valeriana and tell her that he loved her, but they didn't have much time now, as much as he hated it, so he had to hope that he'd have time later to tell her again. She had drank, as had he, and was seeming to feel slightly better, if only physically. They needed to move on, now knowing that there were those fighting back, even if Sev didn't agree with them.

Faith rested her head against Dreysn's gently. "You're welcome." She replied, smiling. He had the look on his face about when he was thinking about something dark and unhappy, but those were the times they lived in for now. Nothing would be done by worrying about it, so she had to accept it and move on for now, right beside Dreysn. "Think many others are running like us?" She asked quietly. She didn't know who was enemy or foe anymore, or if there were many that could be trusted.

Valeriana looked up at him and held onto him. She nodded. "Yeah. Let's get going." She grabbed his hand and started to head toward the door. She knew that there was probably going to be some repercussions for her actions, but she knew that this could easily be dealt with. She just had a feeling that it had to do with some of the werewolves. There had to be someone who knew about shadow wolves without being one. Or being one formerly. She looked up at him and gripped his hand. "I'm sorry..."

Dresyn looked up at her in the corner of his eyes. He smiled softly and wrapped an arm around her to pull her close. "Yeah... I do think that there are many. If the shadow wolves are trying to take power, it means everyone that isn't one will be running." He looked around slightly and thought about the day he left. It had almost ended badly. He shook her head and looked at her. "It'll be alright."

Sev glanced at Valeriana as they started to walk out, noticing the look in her eyes and the grip of her hand. "What for?" he asked quietly, confused. "You have nothing to apologize for, my Love."

Faith smiled, leaning against Dreysn comfortably. "I know it will be, you seem set on making it that way, and I have trust in you." She replied.
