Sev leaned against a wall, arms crossed an waiting, his eyes not leaving Valeriana, protectively.
Faith sighed slightly, taking a step back. "Go. Protect me. I'll be back here and out of the way, and still close enough for you to help." She said. Then she fixed him with a very direct and threatening stare. "And if you even think of getting yourself hurt or killed just to protect me, I'll resurrect you just to make your hide into a fur rug, got that?" She stated more than asked, but it was more out of concern and love than just a plain threat. She was worried about him after all.
Kanema sneezed slightly as he began walking back to her room. "Sorry, I'm a bit allergic to pointless and found-less self-pity is all." He apologized in a light tone. "Now, unless you want me to repeatedly dunk your silly head in a bucket of ice water until you sober up, shall we discuss how none of that was even remotely your fault, under your control, or even close to making you a monster?" He asked. "Though, if you're what she considers a monster comparatively to herself and her ideals, I would much rather be a monster, or with one. Angel is just... not worth the concern. She's hardly even a true vampire herself anymore." He mused as he walked. "Now, you going to carry on with the silliness of blaming yourself and name calling?" He asked, looking down at her. "I hurt myself worse when I train. You'd have to tear off my arm and beat me with it before I even noticed." The image alone was amusing, to him at least.
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more:
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
"Life is as tedious as a twice-told tale,
Vexing the dull ear of a drowsy man."
"And this our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything."
