Valeriana sighed softly and gripped his hand. "I mean what I said. That there are things that could happen. and there are things that I know will happen when our two different worlds clash even more firmly."

Dresyn shrugged slightly and stared out the windshield. That was just one of the things. He wouldn't get use to it because of how low he put himself.

Sev sighed. "What kinds of things?" He asked her quietly.

Faith shook her head slightly, eyes distant as she drove.

Valeriana sighed softly. "Death, pain, agony..." She shrugged slightly and looked down. She was always going to worry about that.

Dresyn sighed softly and stared out the window, not sure of what to say. Not even sure of what to do anymore.

Sev smiled despite himself. "So nothing too new to us?" He asked.

Faith glanced at Dreysn and gently took his hand.

Valeriana looked at him and rubbed her arms. "Yeah..." She felt like this little trip to the beach was to ask for the rest of the questions that were stuck in her mind.

Dresyn held her hand firmly in his. He had been worried that things would actually start to fall. He took a deep breath and sighed softly.

Sev gently placed his hands over hers. "It'll be alright, as much as I can make it for us." He said softly.

Faith gently squeezed his hand in a quiet reply.

Valeriana looked down at their hands and looked at him. "What if you can't, love? What if something happens and it won't be alright?" She knew she asked a lot of questions. But that was the only way to say anything at all.

Dresyn held her hand and whispered, "Where to then?"

Sev shrugged lightly. "I never said that I can do everything, or that it wouldn be hard." He replied. "But it doesn't mean I'll ever give up on you easily. You mean far too much to me."

Faith shrugged slightly. "To a small bookstore that I know." She replied.

Valeriana looked at him and squeezed his hand gently. "Thank you..." She kissed him gently. "But I think that there are some times where you will give up on me."

Dresyn looked at her and nodded. "Alright." He smiled softly.

Sev laughed. "Yeah, if it's the only or best way to either save you, or give you the best life possible." He replied. "Only then."

Faith smiled and gently ran her smaller thumb along the side and his hand.
