Valeriana whispered, "For acting this way." She knew that she couldn't control it right now. But she felt horrible that she hadn't been able to actually help him.

Dresyn looked at her and kissed her gently, closing his eyes. The arm was starting to disappear again. His elbow was gone. He pulled back slightly.

Sev blinked. "I fail to see how that's your fault in the slightest." He replied.

Faith pulled back, and glanced at his arm. "Oh, I forgot! I'm so sorry!"

Valeriana whispered, "If I hadn't given up to my bloodlust, none of this would have happened. We wouldn't be on the run..."

Dresyn pulled her back gently and whispered, "Shh..." He put a finger to her lip and kissed her again. "Don't apologize."

Sev hook his head. "It would have happened eventually. The rebels needed little reason to start all this, and were planning on it anyways." He said with a sigh. "It's not your fault for this."

Faith sighed. "But your body..." She wispered.

[Anomaly]

Valeriana covered her face a bit more. "But it was me who started it. No one else did..." She closed her eyes, curling up tighter in her ball. She didn't want to think of it as her fault, but she knew it was. No sense denying it.

Dresyn looked at her and smiled softly. "I'll be fine."

Sev gently wrapped his arms around Valeriana, pulling her close to him. "It was a chane happenstance of circumstance, Love." He said. "It's as much my fault as yours."

Faith shook her head. "Over half of your arm is already gone!" She retorted.

Valeriana looked up at him and bit her lip. She shook her head. "It was my own fault for letting myself go a little hungrier..." She looked down again and bit her lip.

Dresyn cupped her chin. "Don't worry about me, love. Please."

Sev gently lifted her face. "Love, it's not your fault." He insisted again.

Faith laughed softly. "Sorry, but I'll never do that."

Valeriana looked at him, her eyes still hungry from the lack of blood. She bit her lip and whispered, "How can it not be... If I hadn't been so stupid..."

Dresyn kissed the top of her head. "And I'll never stop insisting. Don't worry about me right now, ok?"

Sev looked at her, staring into her eyes. "It wasn't stupid Valeriana. I know it's because if hundreds of years of emotional abuse, but not everything you do is stupid and wrong. You are one of the most intelligent and beautiful people I have ever met." He told her seriously. "Never believe that you are worthless. To the world, you may be one person, but to me, you are my world."

Faith smiled. "Alright, I'll compromise to that." She agreed. "Now I just have to live up to your expectations of saving your life. No pressure."
