Vesper raised an eyebrow,
"What's your problem?" she asked, wondering why he was getting so panicky all of a sudden. Was it something she'd said? Good. She didn't want to make friends with these guys. She'd be leaving them behind soon enough.

Chiyo took an instinctive step back when someone walked up to her. She grimaced when the boy said his name. That means I have to answer. "H-hello... I'm Chiyo." Her voice was a little rough, and it sounded like a cats meow. Her tail curled as far is it would go between her legs.

Winter sighed. "Fine, be that way." She sighed and sat down where she was. "I thought the new kids were supposed to be welcomed!"

He rolled his eyes. "Named Kiran." He said, and lead them down another street. He pointed to one house. "This ones yours, Vesper. Mine is number 437, two blocks away, in case you need me. Naga, your house is that one there, and Lavei is staying with you, i believe," He shrugged.

Vesper snorted when the hat fell away to reveal Blade's ears,
"That's it?" she muttered, "I've seen worse."
She followed Kiran and nodded when they came to her house,
"Thanks," she said as she walked up the front walk to the door. She turned the knob and walked inside. She flipped on a few lights and looked around. Relatively plain, but that was ok with her. She could spruce it up later. It needed some color. Maybe she could paint stuff on the walls. Yes, that would make this play a LOT more lively.

"Tired of being what you want me to be..."

Vesper went up to her room on the top floor and dropped her backpack onto her bed. She saw that there was a small balcony connected to her room. She opened up the double doors and walked outside. She leaned on the railing and looked out at the other houses. She couldn't see much from her vantage point, which was disappointing, but the direct access to the outdoors was nice.
She sighed and turned around, leaning her elbows against the railing. She glanced at the roof and then did a double take when she realized that someone was up there. It was that cat kid from before,
"Might I ask what you're doing on my roof?" she called up.
