"I don't know if they'll work... how about-.. no." She speeds up dramatically, hoping the follower will catch up and get close in behind them. "IN the event something happens to the jeep could you protect Elijah for me, Varias?"

Varias nodded. "No problem, I'll be ready." He looked back at the car. "Maybe there is another way..." He opened the window.

Aliyah glanced at him, slowing down a bit. "Varias, what are you doing?" She looks at him, frustrated. She had planned on totaling the jeep on the other car, but with Varias out the window... Maybe his idea was better. Probably was. Any plan would be better than the one she was going to try. "Should've just let him take the wheel," she muttered, looking in the rearview mirror. "That would've been better." Shakes her head. "Worst idea first though."
