"Um, well, I'm talking to a troll named Karkat over this headset here on my head." Gale laughed, pointing to the thing. "And technically, if you'd see it from my side, it looks like a dang vortex. I wonder...Hey, Karkat-I'm not being a smarta**-, tell me if something goes flying through the lab." He smirked, throwing a rock he had in his pocket through what he thought was where the hole was, watching it disappear in thin air.

[Sake]

"Yes, you are being a smarta**, and- Oh f***!" Karkat hissed, flinching as the rock flew into the room and bounced off his head. He seemed to have a lot of unlucky incidents like this. "D***it, Gale!"

[Zaphod Riker]

"Hmm... A one-way-visible black hole? That's odd." I say, and watch the guy throw the rock. I take the bat from Gale, and chuck it at the area where he threw the rock.

Pennie and I look at one another, and grin. "That's where the black hole is!" We both say in sync.

"Karkat, move, like now, unless you want to get hit in the head with a bat, buddy." Gale laughed, sweatdropping at the trolls. "And yeah, quite weird. I'm not even sure how to describe it; Black hole, vortex, spinning thingy, etc...Really confusing." He murmured.

[Sake]

"Wait, what?!" Karkat hissed into the walkie talkie and, since he was sitting, didn't really have the time to get up and get away before the bat also slammed into his head. "OW! D***IT! F***!"

"Pen here is great at that kind of stuff." I say, nudging Pennie with my elbow.

•Pennie•

"Hmm. What caused it in the first place? That black hole wasn't there this morning. We were flying Vorcom's remote control plane and it's still here."

"Karkles, are you okay?! Oh bloody h*ll, Karkat, speak to me if you're still alive!" Gale exclaimed, being over-dramatic as he talked through his microphone thing before calming down. "Umm, my time machine didn't work quite the way I expected it to." He murmured.

Karkat rubbed the top of his head begrudgingly, raising an eyebrow. "Karkles? The h**l...? I'm fine, Gale..." He muttered, rolling his eyes. "Stop throwing things through that d**n hole, though!"

"Dude, I'm five and I know not to try that... Playing with time sometimes has it's fallups. That's what I heard, anyway." I say, and cross my arms. "So exactly why are you here again? Besides figuring out where the black hole leads to?"

"Because it is going into totally random places..."

"Dude, are you sure? I'd be knocked out if a bat hit me in the head! And sure thing, gotcha, no throwing things through the hole anymore..." Gale sighed, smiling when he realized his 'friend' if that was what he could be called was somewhat okay. "Well, I'm curious, and time does not know any bounds to me, and the only reason it messed up was because....I kind of forgot to put in a few bolts." He murmured, blushing at his stupid mistake.
