"Yeah, yeah. I won't let go of the d**n rope..." Karkat grumbled, trailing after Gale. "I'd rather not be stuck here forever, you know. I'll hold onto it." He nodded.

[Witch of Music]

"Good to know, Karkat." Gale murmured, glancing at Sollux as they passed him on the way to the lab, entering quietly and grabbing the things they needed. He turned on both walky talkies and sighed, putting one on a table. "This will be our way of communicating." He murmured, tying his end of the rope around his waist, having already took the lab coat off, knowing it'd probably be just a bit more dangerous with it. "And here." He murmured, holding out the other end of the rope for the troll.

Karkat cast a bitter gaze at Sollux, tempted to pull some form of prank on him while he slept, but sighed and simply continued after Gale. "Alright." He nodded at the walky talkies and took hold of the rope. "Got it."

I sat by my tree, holding the bat. I guess if I was attacked by anything, I can chuck it. Pompoms beat bats... Especially pompoms that have a spike in them.

I sit examining the bat with Pennie.

"Alright, I'm going in, hope I make it out alive." Gale murmured, sighing as he stepped into the hole bravely, ready for the pain that would surely result from this, but nope, unless you counted his temporary blindness from where his glasses fell, he didn't feel anything. "Well, at least I'm still alive, can't see a thing cause my glasses fell off though." He murmured into his headset, or the walkietalkie on his side, running his hand along the ground and finding his glasses before putting them back on his face. "Actually, I can see now, I just don't know where I'm at." He laughed, knowing he was probably annoying the other troll.

Karkat wrapped the rope around his wrist a couple of times, making sure not to make it too tight. He grabbed the walkie talkie from the table and placed it on his shoulder, leaning his head on it to press it to his ear and still have both arms usable. He took hold of the rope with the now free hand and stood a couple of yards from the black hole. Listening to Gale, he sighed heavily and rolled his eyes. "I don't think I need that much updating..."

I look around. "Vorcom... Did you just hear something?" I ask, and take out the large coat I had in my sylladex. Just in case. I'm also still holding the bad.

"I think so..." I say, and put on the coat. I jump onto Pennie's horns, and watch as she manages to button the coat from the inside. I look around.

((Fun fact: Music actually has a set of walky talkies where one is a normal walky talkie and the other is a headset XD))

"Sorry, sorry, I can't help it. Hmm, let's see, I think I am surrounded by trees, bushes, and more trees. Whereever I am, Kar, it is boring." Gale laughed softly, taking a few steps forward as he looked around, his voice, once again being just a bit too loud.

((And why is this reminding me of one of those movies where they do what Gale did and never seem to run out of rope? Lol.))

I turn, and see some weird guy with a rope around him. "Hey! You!" I call, not threatening, but not too friendly either.

I respond to were the other guy is, and begin to walk towards him. Since Vorcom is standing on my horns, I need to be steady.

"Oh, um, hello there..." Gale squeaked, adjusting his glasses as he tried to focus on these people talking to him.
