I grumble and grunt, before lowering my head and letting Virala come down.

"Yeah... StarFawn is very protective..." I say, and smile as my Lusus lies down beside me. I pet her head gently, and she closes her beady eyes.

Karkat raised an eyebrow. "I can see that..." He muttered. "StarFawn...?" He echoed dubiously.

"Yeah. Her name is StarFawn... At night, she can ran through the stars and sh•t..." I say, and kinda smile.

"Run through the stars?" Karkat furrowed his brow. "Like some kind of f***ing constellation or something?"

I shrug. "I dunno. Honestly, I never really cared..." I say, and look at Karkat. "What's your Lusus like?"

"Well," Karkat began with a frown. "He's this thing... Er, he looks a lot like an Earth 'crab', if you've ever heard of those..." He ran a hand through his hair. "And he has these two claw pincher things."

"Hmm... Seems interesting." I say, and nod. "Is he like StarFawn? All protective and stuff? Or no?" I ask, and tilt my head.

"Nah," Karkat shook his head. "Just f***ing tempermental. I have to fight him to get out of the hive sometimes, because he gets really angry when he's hungry..."

I chuckle somewhat. "I wish my Lusus wasn't always just patrolling around. She's never even around to fight with." I say, and cross my arms. "This is actually the longest she's been in one spot, and the longest I've actually talked to someone in her presence." I admit, and sigh, scratching the base of my right horn.
