"But I don't want you to go... And I can take care of myself!" I say, and puff up to make myself look bigger. I wasn't very big, and my shoes were two inches of my total height.

The giant of a troll stopped running and turned around to wave at Virala. "Sis...fine. Come on. He's old fashioned, we gotta go quick." He sighed, folding his arms across his chest.

I nod, and run after Gamzee. Since I was used to running on both snow and sand, I was able to catch up pretty fast. "Ok, lead the way!"

The growling began as soon as lusus and troll saw eachother. Gamzee walked into the water and kicked it up at his goatdad, shouting. "What do you gog damn want, huh?" In reply, the lusus grunted. "NO! Gog damn old IDIOT she's not my gog damn matesprit!" He snapped, and in return was pinned by a massive hoove. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound angr-BLAH" Gamzee was pushed under by the offending hoof, which released him, and sat up coughing, now soaked.

"No." He said sharply as he sat up. "I already killed two trolls and I killed a lusus today. What more do you gog damn want? I'm not like my gog damn ancestor." He grumbled as the lusus growled at him, clearly disappointed. "Can I go?" He snapped, rewarded with a jab from the hoof. "Nice to see you too, gog damn crappy lusus!" He shouted as he watched his lusus submerge and disappear.

He sat down and growled to himself, kicking at the sand. "He wanted to see me kill you. 'Cus he wants me to be more like my ancestor."

"I can play dead... One time Pennie thought I was dead because I fell asleep when part of my huge collapsed on me." I say, and shrug, walking up to him. "Your Lusus seems like a huge •ss...

Gamzee had his teeth buried in his arm, ignoring the pain. He was learning that he could calm down quicker if he bit something. "He is." He muttered as he spat indigo blood on to the sand.

I stand beside Gamzee, and gently pat his shoulder. "So your Lusus only called ya so he can see ya kill someone?" I ask. "That's just messed up..."

"Yeah. He was so gog damn happy when I told him I killed two trolls. I wanted help and he encouraged me to do it again." He mumbled, a lot calmer than he was before.

"That's where it pays to just be ornery and not care what your Lusus says... And have a frying pan at all time." I say, and smile. "But you're ok, right Gamz?"

Gamzee nodded, but he was lying. He'd have loved to sit and expose everything he'd bottled up since Tavros died, but he always lost himself when he tried. "I'm sorry me an' my lusus are gog damn nasty."
