Gordan shook his head and looked behind him, glad to see his owner was following. She was a good person, but it took a little work to see it sometimes. Reassuringly, he pushed against Ian's hand.
Will made sure the distance between them stayed a good way apart. She wasn't ready to apologize to him, and honestly, she wasn't sure how he would respond. her heart was beating wildly, and Will started to focus on calming it. Her heart couldn't get too excited, or she might faint again. Her fear of dying came rushing into her mind, and Will tried furiously to force it back, despising every bit of it.
