"Yeah, I got him as a foal, his previous owners hadn't loooked after him very well, he was so skinny and dirty. No one wanted to adopt him cause of how he looked..." He smiled "...Bet they regret it now" He softly stroke Shiver on the nose.

Wesley looked at the Stranger. She smiled a little again, letting her hand rest on the fence. "I got my own stallion from the slaughter house. He is as mean as a horse gets."

"I'm sure he has his reasons, you just got help him to trust you, a horse value's trust and kindness, and tenderness too" He told her "It may take a verylong time, but you'll see some changes in his behavour, of how he treats others differently to you" He said.

"Well Princeston and I have a very strong bond. I've trained him and he trusts me. Actually he's very protective over me, but with other horses and people he doesn't like them," Wesley said looking over at him.

"What was his history? Was he ever attacked?" He asked.

"Unfortunately I was never told. I just know he was in the slaughter house and he was the meanest horse there. He was in a very small pen and he was always being whipped," Wesley answered.

"I'm guessing he probably had some bad experiences then, that's what tends to turn a horse mean" He suggested.

Wesley nodded. "Yeah, I know. I'm glad I have a bond with him though. He is actually one of the sweetest horses," she said looking at him.

"Horse's are such gentle creatures to the ones they love" The Stranger told her.

Shiver made a nodding motion and nieghed softly.

Thunder got back up he walked about sadly, he whinnied softly.

"I agree with that," Wesley said. She looked around, keeping distance from the Stranger. She trusted him a little, but she still wasn't comfortable around guys. Wesley held her hand out to Shiver with a smile.
