Riku smiled a little bit, flushing at her comment. "Perhaps." He said, as if thinking about it, although that's what he would have preferred anyway.

"did you hear about that ball coming up? The coral kingdom is hosting it tomorrow" Jessie said. "it seems kinda uptight to me" she added with a small giggle

"You think so? 'Cause it is." Riku said, smirking. "All royal parties like that are. Everyone has perfect manners and no one can crack a decent joke." He said. A moment after, something floated out from behind his head. It was charcoal gray, speckled with turquoise...A seahorse about the size of Riku's palm. It swam out, nuzzling Riku's cheek for a moment before he put a hand up. Its tail curled around his finger like a ring. "Nigel...What are you doing here?" He said, raising an eyebrow at the little sea creature. "Oh, but proper introductions. Nigel, this is Jessie...Jessie, Nigel." He said, letting the little seahorse float out to the girl so it could get a good look at her.

Jessie giggled. "hello nigel" she said with a smile. She looked at the cute seahorse. She looked at Riku, then stroked nigel's back gentally.

Nigel made a tiny whistling sound as she pet him, sending little bubbles racing up to the surface. He continued to blow bubbles, enjoying himself. "He does that all the time...I'm not sure why...Anyway, he's just my little pet. I think a shark is a bit too bulky for me, but a fish is too bland." Riku smiled a little bit. "He's his own little personality, for sure." He added.
