Keahi pulled the string to his eye, aiming for the kill. He shot, the arrow flying clean and burying itself up to the shaft in the rabbit's chest. It fell, dying instantly. Keahi smiled. He would eat tonight. He dashed over and picked up the rabbit when he heard voices. He froze, unsure of what to do. This was his part of the woods, no one ever came here. No one he noticed at least.

Keahi crept toward the voices. He climbed up a tree, watching the scene playing out before him from the shadows of the leaves. His rabbit was slung loosely over his shoulder. There were five people sitting around a fire, he noted.
