I smiled sleepily. "Oh, thanks. I do that a lot." I sat up and ran a hand through my short hair. I then noticed how it was light. "You should've woken me." I mumbled.

"Why? You needed sleep too." He said.

"Yeah, but we need to keep going; find somewhere to get food. Or to go wherever we're going." I smiled. "But thanks."

Asher nodded and climbed down from the tree.

I followed him, jumping the last few metres and landing in a crouch. "Pick a random direction." I smiled, straightening and spinning around.

"Um...that way," He said, picking a random direction.

(ugh, my older bro has fallen asleep on me. Like, across me. Splat. My arms are going numb XD)

I smiled and started walking in that direction, snapping off a fern and twirling it around in my fingers.
