Mason kept walking until he felt it was safe. He walked to an area where the trees made a covering. He gently propped Hayley against a large tree and sat next to her.

Asher walked with her. He was also curious about where the path led.

I glanced around, aware of every sound. My mind raced. It could lead to a secret lair or something... I shook my head to clear the weird thoughts, and glanced at Asher.

Asher was distracted so he ALMOST tripped over a rock, but he got out of the way before he did xD

I smiled and looked away, peering over my shoulder. The path stretched out behind me, and before me. It was never ending...

Asher remembered that day he crashed into a tree. Once he saw Grace staring at him he'd blushed more than ever in his life. That was embarrassing XD

I continued to look over my shoulder. It felt like we were being watched... But there was no signs of life other than a hawk perched in the trees. Although, ninja hawks would be pretty awesome...

I shot a final suspicious look at the hawk, then turned forwards again. The path winded up into the mountains, leading into the cave. I glanced at Asher. "I've got a really bad feeling about that cave, but I want to go in at the same time."
