Biyu smirked a little in triumph when his eyes rolled. She stared at the face of her broter a bit, but was compeltely shocked by what Ragen did next. His hand clapped her shoulder and his voice rung with caring confidence as he told her that she was helping. The sand losts it's will and collapsed onto the beach, leacing Biyu to sit there in amazement. Her heart was all she could hear, and slowly she took a deep breath to calm her nerves. No one had talked to her like that in so long, talked to her so emotionally, like they truely understood. She turned, preapring questions to ask him, but the blew right out once she saw his three spheres of flame. When he started to juggle them, Biyu smiled, a true and honest smile, the flickering flames reflecting in her eyes as they lit up childishly in slight wonder. She looked past the flames though, and into Ragen's concentrated gaze, peering through the frame that was created by his juggling. HEr smile was sweet, strong, the same as it had been befor eher brother changed. It was the same smile she used to give to her brother, only this time, it held just a bit more confidence and trust. Biyu didn't know what to say really, only that she felt happy for once in a very long time.

One of the fireballs dissapeared, and Ragen juggled the two remaining in one hand. He looked at her, and slightly smiled, as she watched in amazment and the spinning balls of flame easily jumping of his hand, and landing gracefully. Score one for Ragen. He remembered how the other firebending kids would watch as he juggle flaming sphere's wondering if they could ever do that. every time the tried, they nicked there finger with a spark, or lost control of the small flame.

Biyu smiled at Ragen before she stood up and watched the flames a few seconds longer. She couldn't never say that she knew how it felt to do that, but she never felt comfortable around flames. But she had no trouble with moving a little closer to Ragen and his flames. She felt completely sure that he wouldn't lose control, that he would never harm her. The scar she received from her brother showed more when the flames lights danced across her face. Again she met his eyes, and wondered if she should do what she wanted to. She felt the need to hug Ragen for some weird reason, but she didn't want him to think she was soft, or so she told herself, she just didn't want him to have a chance to reject her.

Ragen looked at her, and did something he rarely did. Smile. It was a small, soft smile, but it was a smile. He stopped juggling a the flames, and a little flame weaved in and out of the fingers on his right hand. all of them, little things he would do to keep occupied, and yet so many people liked the tricks. it had been a long time since he had done any of them.

Biyu saw him look right back at her and she watched his lips twitch. When he smiled, she felt warmth blossom throughout her entire body, as though someone lit her blood aflame. A dull shade of pink lightly dusted her cheeks and she felt a bit more reluctant to resist her esires. She tried to redirect her attenton to the flame as it dance in and out of his fingers. slowly she gaze at it and her fingers began to sway and swoop, imitating his own, and slowly the and lifted again and reluctantly swirling in and out, she found it a bit puzzling to be doing somethng so simple, and she had no idea why she did it.

Ragen's smiled broadened slightly, but not by much. A little flame danced inbetween her fingers, as he controlled it with his gaze. It would dodge her fingers when she would slightly slip up, and never once touched her skin. He wondered what she thought about this, but dismissed the wondering thought. The light pink appearing on her cheeks made the sound of his heartbeat louder, but Ragen's amazing consentration allowed no room for mistake.

Biyu's heartrate quickened moreso when the flame replaced her sand and weaved in and out. Her eyes sparked with fear, but at the same time, awe. She her fingers continued to move, and she forced ehr hand to stay in the air, rather than ripping it away and risk being burnt. She shuddered and stared as the flame danced, and fear filled her. The heat being so close to her skin, she was reminded of her brother, rushing at her with a jet of flames. Would Ragen do the same thing?! The thought struck her and she held back tears and tried to look up. But when she met Ragen's eyes, she didn't see the same hatred her brother held, but instead, she saw his calm, concentrated gaze. "A-Ah!" She breathed out somewhat when she looked at the flame again and her fingers slowly went stiff with fear. She didn't have enough confidence in herself, nor him, to trust that the flame wouldn't burn her. Biyu closed her eyes and she allowed her hand to jut forward and grab Ragens quickly as her body fell into him. She refused to cry in front of him, but she was clearly afraid by the way she fisted his shirt in a white-knuckled fist and she refused to open her eyes. Suddenly words trickled from her mouth. "Please don't!" She whispered feircly, her palm tight against his before her fingers curled down and held his hand tightly, hers trembling. "Please don't let it burn me!" She pleaded softly, her voice cracking with fear. She didn't think of how she was being so cowardous, instead, she was focusing her attention on hoping she wouldn't be touched by the flame.

Ragen evaporated the flames, and held her in a calm embrace, " Biyu, why would i let them burn you? If that ever happened to you, i would feel so bad, that i would drowned myself, and i'm don't really like water." Confession one. He wondered why he had confessed that to her. He dismissed, obviously glad he did. He didn't mind being close to the water, and just sitting at it's edge, besides drinking it, and taking showers, he wouldn't go in it. He would go in the rain, if he had to, but wouldn't do it unless it was necessary. He wouldn't dare go into a body of water, even if it cost him his life. Flying over the water makes him tense, and become unusually unstable. He would freeze, standing, or sitting, and be very quiet. In boats he gets a headache, and does the same tense and freeze thing. He hated water, it was his natural enemy. He held Biyu, softly, in his arms. His heart thudded fast, and he wondered if she could hear it.

Biyu felt wamr trong arms curl around her shaking body, and she shuddered in answer. All she could think of were flames rushing at her, screaming until tears had came, and just before that, pain seared in her eyes and she could longer open it without releasing a shriek of unholy pain. From that day on she had been terrified of feeling fire. At any camp fire type thing, she'd sit as far away as she could wihtout getting too cold. Biyu just pressed herself tight against Ragen's chest, and quickly inhaled and exhaled, reminding herself that it was Ragen. Ragen would never do that. He wouldn't. She warded off the fact that she thought the very same way of her older brother. She pressed her ear to Ragen's chest and listened as he spoke words of comfort to her, easing her fear-ridden mind. HEaring that he would rather drown, even though he didn't like the water, made some of her senless shuddering begin to fade. She chose to speak,"I'm not a fan of water either.. I-I can't swim well, and I-I like to know the earths beneath me. The only way I do is when I feel it." She whispered, and by the end of her phrase, her voice stopped jumping all over. But that was the end of it, she resumed to cower a little and hide in the arms of a man who create such evil as flame. Biyu felt safe in that embrace, morseo by his thudding heartbeat. She closed her eyes and let herself be lulled by the ryhtm of his heart. "I.... I trust you.."" She whispered.

Ragen smiled, and whispered, " i trust you too. which i hope is a good thing." He could almost feel a little flicker of light dance around inside him, and the thought of someone who came into his life in such a bitter way, and how now, would make a touching moment in a movie, and it was happening to him. It was all so different, but almost in a good way, as if, something was meant to change.
