Emerald sat beside Bolin and watched the fire ferrets and the Avatar obviously upset about something and uncomfertable sitting near them

Ashira’s Tigerdillo hopped out of her hiding place under one of the benches. She spotted the two little Fire ferrets and walked over to them. She cocked her head and narrowed her eyes as if saying, ‘Who are you? I don’t know you.’
(What do Tigerdillos look like? I think I’ve seen one but I’m not sure!)

Biyu saw the councilman's reaction to Korra's absence and watched silently. She dismounted Hong and walked onto the boat, careful with each step. She absolutely hated traveling anyway that didn't involve the ground firmly under her feet, the only other way she normally accepted was Hong, but boats, and flying were definitly a weakness of hers.
She stepped on and felt the boat rock barely, and immediately she groaned a little and reached over, grabbing the handrail for support. She listened as everyone introduced themselves and she looked to each one as they did. Biyu allowed her gaze to flicker across the boat to Emerald once again, and she sighed mentally before walking over and waving her hand stiffly,"Biyu, Biyu Beifong." She grunted and looked at her shoes, not being shy, just, nervous,"Earthbender from Gaoling."
The earthbender looked up at Emerald and sighed before nodding. You're already friends with one, why not another? It wasn't as hard now, trusting Friebenders. She took Ragen's words to heart, and would try her hardest not to let what happened get the best of her.
Biyu then looked to Tenzin and nodded to him, a fist to her heart,"Sir, it's an honor to meet you. As I said earlier, my name is Biyu Beifong." She said and closed her eyes briefly before she turned to Korra and smirked a little, normally the only thing you saw on her lips aside from a straight line,"And Avatar Korra, I'm on your side. After I leave, you may call if you need aid." she said finally. Once her introductions were out of her way, she focused on gripping the handrails for dear life, and simply begging that nothing would happen so that she needed to swim. Mostly because she didn't know how to.

Emerald sees Biyu holding onto the railing then turns away to look at the water. She turns and leans her arms and head off the edge of the boat, running her hand trough the water. She felt Rosshu pawing at her head and he sat on her back. She holds her necklace in her hands, a sun outline made of gold with a sun ruby in the middle. It's one of the rarest gems, a ruby that is golden, that only turns its true color with fire. She looked at the island wishing to get there soonner. After they stopped she would find a quiet secret spot and open the secrets that the necklace held inside. Emerald closed her eyes and a single tear fell onto the stone. She hoped no one was looking, and opened her eyes then looked back at the island.

[ To my knowledge, Tigerdillos have only been mentioned, but they are a cross between a tiger and an armadillo, most likely a somewhat regular tiger with a shell of an armadillo. ]

Bolin smiled and watched the fire ferrets. Little Pabu was cautious and merely sat, peering at Rosshu. He leaned against the ship as it sailed across the bay to Air Temple Island, his green eyes watching Korra with slight curiosity. Returning his gaze to Pabu and the other fire ferret, he was surprised to find a Tigerdillo in their midst. Pabu squeaked and scrambled back up to Bolin's shoulder in surprise. He chuckled lightly, before turning to look towards Air Temple Island.

(That's what I thought but I've never seen one before so...yeah.)

Rosshu jumped onto Bolin's head to paw at Pabu couriously. Emerald tucked away her necklace and sat back down "sorry about Rosshu he likes to play" she laughed a bit as Rosshu jumped onto the floor wanting to play. Emerald watched him smiling. "Rosshu be nice if Pabu wants to play." she pet him before looking at the others still wondering what was wrong with being a firebender.

Korra

Korra watched Bolin and Emerald talk. A tigerdillo appeared and came up to the two, scaring poor Pabu who ran up Bolins shoulder. She poked Pabu softly before looking up and seeing Biyu introducing herself. Korra grinned a little at her. "Thanks," She said and nodded a bit. She looked towards Air temple island, they would be there in about 15 minutes and then everyone will get a short tour, maybe some food. She glanced at a certain person. Then they will be shown there quarters.

Tenzin

Tenzin looked at Biyu and dipped his head a little. "I only wish it was under different circumstances. Fleeing from the city because of Amon's rule isn't the best way to get benders together, but its one." He said and looked at all the young benders, trying to save themselves from Amon's evil schemes. "All of you are welcomed to stay as long as you like." He announced and looked at the tigerdillo trying to make friends with the fire ferrets. Then his gaze turned to Emerald and then to the others.

Mako

Mako looked at the two fire ferrets until a Tigerdillo came out and scared him half to death. He sighed and leaned back, watching the water gently flow by them. He looked at Bolin briefly to see how he was doing, then turning his gaze to Biyu who seemed to be a little afraid of the boat. "Be careful by those handrails, you might slip over." He called cautiously.
