I kicked a stone out of my way as I walked the town streets. My mother went shopping, so I went to wander. I skimmed my fingers against the cold brick wall to my right. I looked up to see what building it was. The bakery. I was about to go in, when I remembered I had no money on me. Only 5 bucks. I sighed and walked down the alley next to the building. Mom had always told me alleys were dangerous, but I didn't see how.
