Sammy closes her eyes for a moment. "I know," she says softly. "But...if you hold this back any longer and you could attack or even kill someone." She takes a deep breath. "It's my job to protect humans against vampires. Please understand. I'm doing my job." Her spine stiffens. "I can't risk any more lives than necessary. If you're a new vampire, you're going to have a hell of a lot less control than the more experienced ones." Her two-toned eyes are steady now, no emotion but determination.

Seth held her gaze for a moment, struggling to keep his eyes from wandering to her neck. Though, he didn't appear to be under that kind of stress. Seth bit his lip. He knew there was no detouring her from her desicion. Obviously she had already made up her mind... Still, Seth couldn't bring himself to take blood from someone he kind of considered a friend...
Seth finally glanced away."I know."he said quietly."I know." Seth tried so hard to hold onto his human side. His mind set only ever slipped and transferred to that of a vampire's when he had to hunt. Even then, he tried to fight it, before finally failing. But he liked Sammy... She was actually a good person, and he found it fun to talk to her... He didn't want to take her blood, but at the same time, he knew she was right.
Reluctantly, he took a step toward her before stopping. The side of this brain that was still human was fighting with the vampire side... This isn't right, she's your friend, don't do it! What happens if you lose your control completely?! What if you kill her?! Seth stopped, his eyes on her again, though uneasy.You have to, or you will die. You know she's right. There's no harm, it's just a little blood...said the vampire side of him..."You're really brave, you know that?"he muttered, shaking his head a little.

Sammy's cheeks flush. "Thanks." She takes a deep, shaky breath. "I'm ready when you are."

Seth
Seth hesitated, still horribly conflicted. The possibilty that he would seriously harm Sammy, and the that she may end up hating him again was still fresh in his mind. He didn't want that.... Finally, Seth stepped up to her, his movements reluctant as he very gently put his arms around her, drawing her close to him. Seth was very careful not to make her feel too uncomfortable than she was bound to be about being bitten when he did this. He was even quite conscious with where his hands were too, out of respect for her.
One arm was around her middle back, and the other hand gripped her shoulder lightly. Hesitating once again, Seth leaned forward to where his mouth was inches from the side of her neck. Seth closed his eyes, his teeth grit together, hating himself for this....I WILL let go... he told himself firmly.Stop freaking out, you're not the one getting bit... Seth opened his eyes again. They were no longer a metallic blue, but a blood colored red. They shifted to look at her neck and he could feel his fangs sharpening."Stop me if it's too much, okay?"he told her softly, having leaned even closer to her neck. Her scent was intoxicating to him, taunting him with every breath he took.

Sammy

Sammy's breathing is quicker then usual. Her heart is racing, and she knew that her pulse was probably throbbing. She trembles very faintly when Seth puts his hands on her back and shoulder. Her chests rises and falls rapidly with each breath. She's scared out of her mind, but at the same time, she wants to help Seth. She knows it will be deadly for him to run around- starving and out of his mind with blood lust. She tilts her neck very slightly to expose her throat. She hopes to every single god or super-natural being that she's ever heard of that Seth knew how to feed properly. In other words, not rip her artery and make her bleed out in just a few minutes.
Sammy swallows bravely, but she can't help but get more nervous when Seth's eyes change color, red and starving for the life blood. She looks determinedly at the wall opposite. She couldn't afford to panic or thrash.
When he finally speaks, she answers softly, "Okay." A simple word that could mean life or death for her, especially with Seth lost control.
