"No, I wasn't there... but he lived in the house next to me." She shrugged. "It's a silly fear - if someone tried to kill us now I would probably forget it. But I'm sorry for leaving you behind." Her last words turned to a whisper as she pulled out her thermal sleeping bag. She slipped into it and lay there, looking at Riley with a small smile. "We survived." She murmured. "We survived day 1."

Riley lowered his eyes a bit, though Eve wouldn't be able to see anyway. It happening near her didn't make it any less tragic or terrifying. Secretly, he wondered if the Capitol had done it. But he couldn't say that because he knew they might be on camera. "Yeah," he said with a bit of a smirk. "We did survive one day."

After scouting for about another 30 minutes, Anthony just stopped. His head was spinning, the world was rotating, he felt as though he were about to faint.
"Water." He croaked, sitting down on a rock

Hearing the word, she took out the water bottle, which she hadn't drank from yet, and tossed it to him.
"Drink it all you want." She said.

"Well, then... good night." Eve whispered. She was a very calm, light sleeper, so she probably wouldn't fall, but if she did she'd be out of the games in a few seconds with tons of broken bones.

"Thank You... So much..." He said, and then proceeded to tipping the water bottle up and drinking deeply.

(Mako and Cassandra are trying to find water but I don't know where anyone else is..)

After a long while, Mako decided that cowering in the forest waiting for an ambush wasn't at all a very clever thing to do, slowly, he gripped his sword and stood up.
Pacing back the way he'd came, he set out to find Cass, with no plan of what to do if she turned against him.
Then, suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks. There in front of him, was the crumpled body of Cassandra lifeless on the forest floor.
"No, Cass..." He whispered, "CASSANDRA!" He was running at her by now, skidding to a halt on the ground next to her he lifted her head gently. It looked as if she collapsed from dehydration, so carefully, he hoisted her onto his back attaching his pack to hers and clinging to both of ther weapons with one hand. He began walking again towards the faint dripping sound.
