Xavia turned on her heels and ran. A guard saw her and, thinking she was an enemy, shot her. She hissed in pain as the bullet lodged into her ribcage. She sighed in relief, seeing the Doctor. She ran up and hugged him. "I'm sorry!'

The Doctor soniced the door behind her so the guard couldn't get through. "Why didn't you listen to me?!" the Doctor paused "I told you to come back before you got into trouble." he said in a calmer tone. He tried not to sound too angry "What happened? Did I see you?" he questioned. "No, I don't remember seeing you." he answered his own question.

Xavia pulled away and hung her head, ears drooping. "Sorry Doctor." She looked up, looking like a child that had just been reprimanded. "If it makes you feel any better, I got shot." She said quietly.

"Sorry, Xavia. We need to get you back to the TARDIS. She's parked about a mile from here. Can you walk, or do you need help? " The Doctor asked.

Xavia gave a weak smile, "I'm fine, it's just on my side." She took a step and collapsed. "Ugh, stupid poison guns." She muttered.
