Korbin shrugged and caught the sword with ease, after years of weilding scythe, he was quite skilled.

Nion's claws had already made her arms bleed and she twitched. She stepped toward a large pillar, making it easy for a quick escape. "Boo is what my step-mother said when I cleaned the house five times back and forth." She grumbled to herself.

Korbin watched her with a raised eyebrow "Are you feeling alright Nion?"

"Boo was all she said," Nion growled a bit louder, her eyes flashing a bloody red. Her hoodie was zipped up and it covered her face a little as she stared blankly at Korbin.

Korbin glared back "Chill." he hissed, gripping the sword.

Nion's tail went still after lashing and she ran forward, her sword resti g above her shoulder.

Korbin calmly side-stepped, swinging his sword to clash against hers.

Being wobbly, Nion stumbled back, bu quickly gained balance and swung moremswings at him. Remembering her escape route, she started stepping back to the pillar.

Korbin jumped back a few paces, he flapped his wings slightly, spreading brillaint black feathers in the air.

Nion snarled, turning and darting up the pillar. Her eyes flashed red again and she perched on a piece of wood on the ceiling.
