Vanendra changed into a new dress, it was long and flowy, hugging her curves but made of a really light fabric. She felt less on edge in her dress and went out into the corridor to wait for Shaily. They were in this together...even if they hadn't really communticated much. The tigress folded her arms and waited in front of Shaily's door.

Shaily sighed, changing her self into a long, soft feeling dress. When the light hit the dress, it looked like a soft blue color. She smiled, and pinned her hair up, feeling that it was to tangly to be left down. As she shut the door behind her, she saw Vane in the corridor. She let her head fall as she walked over to her, her footsteps barely hearable. "You didn't have to wait" she said and looked at her.

[Vanendra]

"Yes I did..." Vane looked around suspiciously as she lowered her voice and fell instep beside Shaily. "Something isn't right, I feel kind of off you know? I think we should stick together and watch our backs..." The princess fell quiet, wanting so badly to shift into her tiger form and hide away somewhere. Just to lay low and keep to herself for a while.

Shaily nodded, "I know, I have the feeling to, But I don't think anything bad will happen" she said her voice faltered at the end. In fact she wasn't very sure about being there. It didn't feel right. She missed home. She looked at Vane "I guess we should go" she said. SHe wasn't ready, she didn't want to go. SHe felt like a part of her was missing.

[Vanendra]

"Yeah," Vanendra nodded, "stay alert, keep your eyes open, and don't look suspicious." The princess told Shaily as they both headed towards the throne room. She felt bad that she only had a few tips for the other princess. "But remember don't look as scared as a rat either."

Shaily laughed, "Being as scared, isn't going to happen." she said and then looked behind her, feeling like something was about to happen. She tried to regard it as nothing and kept walking, keeping pace with Vane. "Do you miss home?" she asked quietly, keeping her eyes and head forward.

[Vanendra]

"Home is where the heart is...So technically, yes...Because I miss Sampson." She bit her lip, "even if he is a war hero or whatever, Arita wouldn't let him marry me. She was very strict about how royals marry other upperclass people...Well she didn't say much because she doesn't seem to talk about love in general but you know..." Vanendra trailed off and shrugged, "I don't know it just doesn't make sense to me."

{so sorry for being so lax in posting I have a terrible cold right now though so excuse my post if it doesn't seem all that cohesive}

The slight tenseness in Ali's jaw left as he forgave her and she nodded, glancing over her shoulder at him, looking thankful and yet vulnerable too. She felt less afraid to show emotion to him now, but of course that didn't mean she'd go pour out every tiny little feeling she had.
"Thank you." She murmured softly and turned around once more, continuing to ride on at the steady pace she had set for them. She consulted her mental compass and shifted directions just slightly, holding back a yawn. She hadn't slept very well last night she realized, not that that was new or anything.

Erica glanced through the other men Gavin had chosen to go with them and nodded to herself, they were all ones she trusted fairly well. She shifted around in her saddle again, fidgiting uncomfortably with the reins and waited for Vel to lead the way.

Nio kicked his horses sides in order to make it pick up it's pace to ride beside Ali. The gentle bumping of the horse below him felt relaxing in a way now that his arm did not throb with every step. Soon his eyes began to drift close from the lack of sleep the pair received. He could tell their journey today would be a long and tiresome one.

Ali glanced back at Nio after a little but and saw his eyes drooping. She sighed softly, he wasn't the only want who wanted a little more rest. "Why don't we take a break for a bit, you need some more sleep and you ought to rest your wrist." She told him, pulling her horse to a stop. It was plain to see she wanted a rest too even if she was saying it was for his good.
