Ice walked away from the pool and wandered through the woods. she stopped when she realized that she was almost at the castle

Rowan cursed every moment as he put on his formal attire. He walked into the hallway and smiled at the servants, masking his former annoyance with fake delight. "Ready." He told them and they escorted him to the banquet hall.

Ice stood at the edge of the ground, watching every one running about. she rolled her eyes at the activity. she never had liked the palace

Amethyst was determined to never let herself take his money. "Maybe, but I would never use it."

Sage rubbed her back and sighed. It was hard for him to talk so now he stayed silent and held her close.

Rowan was seated on the right side of the table two seats away from his father. He adopted his proper position, shutting out all emotion and bracing himself for the torture that laid ahead of him. The first few ladies began to arrive, who giggled and pointed at him, whispering amongst themselves. He, for the firs time, didn't even notice.

El pulled away after several minutes. "Okay." She said, smiling. It was pained, and she turned away from him. "I was, um, just cleaning out these deer Heath and I got earlier." She said.

"I saw," Sage said taking a small step back. He rubbed his right arm out of habit. It was hard for him not to do it when he was nervous, but it was way better than a banquet. His eyes wondered around and then back to El's beautiful ones.

Ice began to fade back into the woods, but a servant spotted her. " Miss! You're going to be late for the banqute!" She said, grabbing Ice and dragging her into the castle. she called over a few other servants, and about ten minute later they had wrangled her into a dress and were pushing her through the hall. out of instinct, she grabbed her knife and hid it in her sleeve un noticed

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" El asked, continuing to clean out the deer.

Rowan watched the girls file in, unorganized and giggly. He silently sighed, wishing he could be out hunting or running or something. He saw an extremely beautiful girl enter, but only spared her a glance. He just wanted to get all of this over with.

Sage shrugged,"yeah, but I'm not going. I'll leave you now." He then started walking off.

Amethyst walked into the forest and started to wonder around waited Heath.

Heath ran after Amethyst, carrying a sack. He put his arm around her shoulder as he came up behind her. "Ready?" He asked.
