Christie sighed, wiping away a tear. "But you won't be."

"I'll be fine. Think about your life for once, please." I said, getting up.

Christie nodded. "I am. You are my life."

"Your mine too, that's why I can't let you go." I said.

Annetka looked up at Griffin, reaching up to grab gently onto his arm. "We should get down, before you fall," She murmured gently to him. Her head tilted to glance down at how far off of the ground they were, suddenly giving her small chills. A bruise was finally beginning to form on her cheek, but wasn't too noticable in the dim light.

Griffin carefully climbed down the tree and then slid down into a sitting position in the grass. He wasn't going to heal nearly as fast as the werewolves would. He tried to swallow the lump in his throat from the pain, he leaned back against the tree waiting for Annetka.

Christie cried, staring at her feet. "I have to go," she whispered.
