Lily looked back and blinked. She got up and went to the tightrope quickly, not knowing what was going on, but knowing something was wrong.

Severus ran up to Ardarel, she was laying on the ground where she had fallen. Her one arm was bent at a very sickening angle, but she had herself propped up on the other arm, staring horror-struck at what was ten-fifteen feet away from her.
"Ǥɛт αωαʏ!!" she yelled at the mucky vortex, "Ɩ ∂σи'т κиσω ωнαт ʏσʋ αяɛ, вʋт ιғ ʏσʋ нαʋит мʏ иιɢнтмαяɛƨ, тнɛи ʏσʋ нαʌɛ иσ ρℓαcɛ вɛιиɢ ιи мʏ ωσяℓ∂" she said a bit softer than her first spout, still speaking in that old language.
Severus looked her over, then noticed her ankle was bent in a way it shouldn't have been. The vortex of oil and muck kept spinning as the dead and rotting arms kept reaching out of it.

Lily looked Ardarel over then gently took her off the tightrope and started backing away from it. She couldn't see what she could see, an it kind of annoyed her. But, that wasn't the problem at hand.

Ardarel winced horribly and shut her eyes tightly, "Get me away from those things....make them go away momma...." she said softly, trying to use her right arm, but wincing and whining in pain.
Severus looked to where Ardarel had been staring at a moment before and his eyes widened at something.
It may have just been his animal senses, or something else, but he saw the dirt turn black and start to swirl where the oily vortex was.

Lily looked at Ardarel, but didn't say anything. She just started to take her to the medical room, trying to get her there without causing her too much pain.

Ardarel looked up at Lily and her eyes clouded over, seeing a red-ish haze around her. It must have been annoyance or distress. She closed her eyes again and winced at her ankle.
Severus slowly followed them, but stepping backwards, watching the spot of the vortex.
