{{OH gosh! My apologies for dissapearing like that. I tend to be very forgetfull. If I do that again, slap me in the face with a pm.}}
The last thing he remembered, was the abysall fall into darkness trying to capture the other's hand in some hope to save her from whatever lay beneath- or atleast break her fall a little. He could hear something, swirling in his dark caverned skull. Echoing dully in his ears, as if the sounds were being obsorbed into a wall of water. Kenton tried to open his eyes, but to no avail. It was only dark... His mind swirled, trying hopelessly to peice together what just happened. The floor... The floor had caved in... how... Where was he!? Where was the girl- was she alright!?
A soft groan passed from Kenton's lips, which felt almosted glued together, slowly coming to. The smell of damp earth and stale dust wafted over his senses. He realized he was laying down, although as if there were rocks or something under him, the same spots hurt. Leave it to him to land in the pile of rocks. What caught his attention was the stinging at his side, his arm moving away from his chest and fingers brushing over the sticky and warm substance, then just a centimeter over to feel a cool object, his fingers traced up it, feeling the point, slightly slick. Holy crap... He could have died!
He sat up, the sounds of his scuffling not hard to hear. His hands went to his head, that swirled uncomfortably with a tinge of nausea. His head felt like it had been split open by an ice pick. His hands inspected his body futher. Jacket, slightly torn, slightly torn shirt, ache here and there. Upon his inspection, he found he was intact. No missing limbs or broken bones, not to his knowledge.
"I dearly hope it is not just me that cannot see, I'd hate to be blind..." was his first words, said hoarsly and rather quietly. As if some form of delicacy should be delt to the pitch black room. "The hell did I land in..." his hands ran along the cold ground, feeling what felt like chipped stone or earth and some pebbles rolling under his hands, coming over a much smoother, strange surface. Rock? His hand ran down it's length, feeling the smooth curve and the substance, as well as the strange little cavern. His stomache rolled. Not a rock! He scrambled to get up, stumbling over the items strewn under him. He knew what they were but hoped to god that substance was his own blood.
"I hope to god we are not missing someone..." he said. No detail needed given, because if they were missing someone, they were dead. Even if it wasn't either of the three, it was still high time he wanted to get the hell out of here. Dead body, fresh or not, meant get out now.
