The wind blew through the city which never slept, howling it's hollow song of eternity, yet was left unheard.People shrouded the streets and moved much like a herd of cattle, restless and unstoppable.Everyone minded their own business,no one paying attention to the other. In their way of straight forward perspective, many voices would be left unheard, secrets would stay hidden,no one would spot the uneasiness in the shadows.Among the haze of this city,a boy was walking together with the crowds.Hair which swayed lightly with a dark blue color, eyes shrouded in the shadow,he was unnoticed by the passers by.Len was returning from his extra lessons and was talking his time,as he had noting in particular to do in the next hour.On his mind were two things, literature and shopping for ingredients. His parents had warned him that they could be coming late and since his sisters would whine until hell freezes over,he had to cook dinner. It would be easy to grab a few things from the local store once he managed to reach the quieter suburban area.Rush hour was an annoyance he tended to avoid, yet today the student was quite unlucky. He had to walk straight through the noise of the city.Cars roared around, sirens screamed, advertisements shouted from all around, people conversed left and right. His delicate ears could barely stand such hindrance. He sighed as he finally reached the street from which he turned sharply down a dark alleyway.Though rumored to be dangerous,it was much more preferable for a person such as himself to take the mysterious calm path, where you couldn't tell what you have just stepped on,rather than the busy overcrowded streets, where you could be mugged any second.
One shop was in Len's mind.It was familiar to him as he had passed and entered it a few times.A small book shop, with wooden frames and bars on the windows,an ash door with a metal lock serving as an entrance. It was situated in the older parts of the town, where time seemed to run slowly,or at least slower than in the center, and life could go on more peacefully. However, the boy knew very well it was never a good idea to let your guard down.Anything and anyone could be lurking behind the corner,no matter where or who you were.He passed through silently in the alleyways, the small gangs wanting nothing to do with him,yet they cast a few curious gazes at the person's strange look.He didn't wear a hood as to not be mistaken for someone from their bands, but his appearance often made others reach to the conclusion he was from a city gang who had the color of blue as their symbol.Surprisingly,he didn't mind.He minded almost nothing when regarding himself. He let people think what they want simply because he himself could never give an answer as to why his hair was blue or why his ears were very very slightly pointy. All could be explained scientifically, but no one really cared to listen to the long explanation of it.It was much easier for society to make irrelevant 'logical' conclusion.
Finally,Len reached the bookshop called "Tomes and Time." However, the store was closed, despite being past the opening hour.He sighed under his breath and rested his back on the wall of the building next to the shop and decided to wait for the shop-owner or employee to open it.

The sun had barely shown itself from behind the clouds. The sky bared all sorts of shades of grey, matching perfectly with this city of monochrome. And even here,in the part where trees and flowers blossomed, there were colors of monochrome, only resting within people's hearts. In the eastern side of the park,a festival was being held. Many thought of them as strange. Some considered them like impressionists, innovators of modern times.Dresses big and small.Dire eyeliner which made the eyes stand out.Hair tied in various of ways.It was a festival of the lolita culture, one which wanted to bring back the past with a pinch of modern time.Within the groups of chattering humans, the innocent demon fitted perfectly.Walking gracefully, head held high, her dress floated barely above the ground, dusting it from time to time with the with its black lacework. The girl smiled cheerfully as she got to observed the many humans who wished to dress in such a favorite way of hers. She skipped forwards, and payed no attention to the passers by who were not part of the festival. The only thing which strayed her from her plan of fooling the humans again was the scent of angels in the air.She frowned slightly, wondering if she would be caught, but secretly smiled satisfyingly as she knew no angel would act in any way against here if so many humans were around.
