Quinn whimpered, closing his eyes as he wished the cat would go away.

Goth sat down and tossed Quinn a piece of jerky as he ate one.

Quinn felt something hit him, and opened his eyes, to see a piece of jerkey. He gingerly reached out to take it, then started to nibble on it like a mouse.

Ryu growled, changing back to his human form. He dropped down onto the ground, pulling his wing around to inspect it. He'd had his wings torn before, but it always hurt when it happened, since the skin on them was so thin and sensitive. It took forever to heal though. He gingerly touched the torn and bleeding wing, holding back a whimper, masking it with a pained grunt and a wince. The worst part about tearing a wing was that you couldn't bandage it. You couldn't just put a band-aid on it and leave it like that, since nothing really stuck to his wings anyway. He zoned out for a moment, gently running his fingers along the velvety skin on his wings, trying to think of a way to make it feel better.

Goth watched Quinn, and for once, felt protective, and he let out a sigh. "Hey, kid, why don't you stay with me, I could use the help" He said.

Quinn looked up at Goth. "You mean...live here?" He asked. "With you?"

The girls kept running knowing they were likely on ryu's most wanted list

Ryu's tail flicked back and forth like a cat's as he snapped back into reality. He adjusted himself so he was laying on the soft grass of the tiny clearing he was in, plucking at the grass with his wings spread out on either side of him, all fifteen feet of them. He sighed, blowing hair out of his face. This whole world was just...Insane. He could barely follow half the minds here. He would just go back to his original home, far from here, but he would just be hunted down again. He half wanted someone to come find him so he'd at least have a bit of company. But he didn't see that happening every time soon. He'd made a name for himself as a monster with anger management issues and a bloodthirstiness that could hardly be quenched...Of course, all of this was true of him, but it drove others away, and he didn't necessarily want that.

The girls stopped realizing the we're not being persuer and sighed half hoping for a good chase "silly Ryu that's why you never mess with these twins" they said hugging one another not knowing ryu was fairly close by

Ryu perked up at the sound of his name, and two very familiar voices. He pulled his wings in with a soft rustle and pulled himself into a crouch before stalking forward on all fours, surprisingly doing so with ease. He looked angry and dangerous, like a tiger or, more accurately, something like a jaguar. He went through the undergrowth, creating the smallest of disturbances in the undergrowth as he walked toward the voices.
