Merria ran, clutching her waist, while rocks flew in her direction. "Yeah! Run coward!"a slender girl with dark hair snarled. She tripped over one of the fallen rock and cut her arm. It was only her first day at the island and she was already gaining many enemies. So far she had nine enemies and zero friends, unless you count the birds who led her to a nice human burrow. She then got up quickly and found an opening in the ground. She quickly slid in and plopped down into some sort of tunnel system. "And don't fooing come back!"a large boy with amazing eyes shouting down the hole. Of course, with the type of person Merria was, she stuck tongue out and splashed some water in the boys face. She scratched her head and sighed, finding a soft patch of moss.

As she stood up she looked around plucking her bowstring nervously Where am i? She thought biting her lip and looking around. She walked forward and a humming bird flew down from a est above she put up a finger, and the bird landed on it. She smiled as the bird flew away she sighed and kept walking.

Merria squeezed the water from the moss onto her wound, which wasn't bleeding as much as she thought. She gave out little hisses and then wrapped and extra scarf she had brought around herself. She then started down a tunnel.

She kept walking until she heard a loud Crack and she looked down it was just her stepping on a stick then she noticed a hole next to her foot and heard hissing and rustling she gasped rather loudly and jumped back aiming an arrow down the hole.

Seeing the arrow she went back to the opening. "Whoa there! Come back for more?"she joked thinking it was the group of others chasing after her a moment ago.

She narrowed her eyes at the girl who popped out of the hole and lowered her arrow, putting it back in her quiver she mumbled something before turning on her heel and walking away.
