Ryan laughed a little, the tears still coming. "My family is poor too. I have to hunt for them. I'm a whizzed with a spear, but better with a boy."

"How large is your family?" he asked

Cody finished getting on his nicest cloths and smiled to his mom and little brother and sister. They were still to young to be in the reaping so he was happy. He was the only one in his family to be in it. He turned away to the door and soon enough his face grew grimm and scared. He made it to the center and smiled again like he had nothing to worry about but on the inside he felt so scared. He had been through 3 other reapings but that was it. He looked around and saw her.
