River darted down a back alley after an exert. Black hair whipped around her as she ran, gun in hand. The exert quickly took and turn and disappeared using their mutation. "Damn it!" she cursed catching her breath. Her heart beat pounded against her torso as her breathing started to slow.

[Yellow.]

Max kept his hood pulled over his head, turning on his mutation so he didn't make any noise. He went into the middle of the town square where there were many people. 'But with this many people comes with this many enemies, too...' He thought, frowning lightly. He spotted a stall that had many things of jewelry hanging all over it with a plump man who was constantly walking away to reel in customers. He smirked. 'Easy target~ Plus, if it's real jewelry, I could get quite a bit of money for it~'

River brushed the hair from her face and sighed, tucking her pistol back into it's holster. She pulled her black hair back into a ponytail and decieded to go for a walk to clear her head. She soon came across a small jewelry stall and shrugged poking her head in. A large man quickly started to approach her, but she shot him a glare that quickly sent him scurrying away. Only then did she notice a hooded figure mingling near a table of jewelry. She watched him curiously

[Yellow.]

Max checked around, seeing if anyone important was watching him. He noticed a girl was looking at him and shot her a grin, holding up his hand to his mouth. 'Shh~'

He made sure the shop keeper had his back turned and silently plucked a few pieces that were buried under everything off of the stand, stashing them into his pocket and making sure they didn't make any noise.

River jumped, eversoslightly when he caught her gaze. She immediately blushed, embarassed to be caught staring. She silently watched him steal the jewelry and frowned, not really knowing if she should turn him in or just rough him up a little about it. She vaguely noticed he moved without a sound and thought that peculiar.

[Yellow.]

He shot a look back at the girl, who's face was slightly red. 'Hmm~ I wonder why... Oh well, I should probably be getting back. It's not good to sell the jewelry right after you stole it~ Plus, I need to ask someone if this is real or not...' He thought. He melted into the crowds, switching from each crowd to pass through easily. 'I kind of wonder who that girl was... She saw me, but I wasn't making any noise... Coincidence, maybe?'

River moved to follow, but he soon disapeared into the crowd. She cursed under her breath, today she seemed to have absolutely no luck.. She sighed and left the store, but not before leaving something to almost repay the jeweler for his stolen goods. She slipped out of the store without anyone seeing her and quickly ducked down an alley. He should've made at least some noise.. she thought suddenly Exert..

Max whistled happily, finally out of the town. He looked around quickly to see if anybody managed to follow him. He smirked in satisfaction that nobody had. 'And nobody ever will~' he thought. He started to make his way back to their camp.

River sighed and headed toward home until she her heard whistling. She looked up to see the hooded boy from earlier "The hell?" she murmured seeing him. She silently slipped into the shadows in an attempt to follow him. As she walked, she barely made a sound. Something she'd perfected whilst living on the street as a kid. She pulled her coat a little tighter around her waist as she got closer. SHe was right behind him in no time but he was still moving.
