River looked up hearing the message "Look, whatever you are. Stay out of my way." she said coldly and darted off towards the Jerrison base. The usual knot of anxiety in her stomach had grown by the time she entered the building. As she walked through the maze of hallways, those of lower ranking than her saluted her feebly before darting away to continue their duties. She opened the door to the President's office soundlessly and slipped into the room, closing the door slowly behind her.

El Presidente

With his back still to the door, the President watched his General enter his office via security camera. "General Thompson. So nice of you to join us." he said, his voice monotonous and unchanging, a sheet of ice coating it like thick paint.

"President" RIver greeted him formally with the standard two-finger salute. "If you don't mind my asking, why is it you've summoned us?" she asked retaining a perfectly respectful manor as she always did around higher ranks. She stayed where she was, perfectly straight in front of the door.

El Presidente

"You will be informed of my plan once the others arrive." the President said sharply. He liked River. She was respectful, and she killed with ease. But anyone who questioned him just irked him horribly.

"Yes sir." River nodded curtly, she knew she'd over-stepped her boundaries but she also knew the said "plan" was important enough that it wouldn't effect her too much.

Henry smirked. "Nicely done, River. Keep your mouth shut or next time it may not be pretty." He hissed quietly to avoid the presidents attention. He leaned back on a wall, hands in the pockets of his coat while he casually flipped away the hair that kept getting in his eyes.

"Oh shut up twit, before both of our a**es are put on the line" River growled back in a whisper. She stared straight ahead not even glancing his way. She left hand flexed into a tight fist but she quickly loosened it and let it fall to her side. Arrogant goddamned minion thinks he could speak to her, a general, like THAT she fumed

Max blinked, seeing the girl's demeanor changed before she darted off. "..That was weird. Oh well, at least she didn't catch me or something~" He said. "I guess it's time to get back. I wonder if Lea's any good with checking if jewelry is real or not..."
