Mason felt someone looking at him and turned around to see Ai. He tilted his head to one side when he noticed that she hid behind a orange-haired twin. 'Why does she look... Scared?' he wondered to himself. 'Maybe I accidentally scared her while I was trying to help her earlier?'

"Well, I met an awesome friend, we're currently hanging out, and I think it's going well." Kohana chuckled, smiling brightly. "And you're right, it is the best place for ice-cream!"

Lance smiled in relief, clearly showing that he was happy with that answer. "Well," he said, pausing to finish off his ice cream, "where do you want to go next, Kohana? And... Uhmm... Would you mind if I called you Koh?" Lance asked, slightly embarrassed.

"I don't mind, and let's see, how about the park?" Kohana asked, tilting his head as he smiled, letting Zero have the small amount of ice-cream left.

"The park! Sounds like a great idea! You would like that, wouldn't you, Zero?" he asked as the german shepard licked up the ice cream. He looked back at Kohana. "A brilliant idea always seem to come from an amazing writer." He chuckled, brightening up at how fun his day had been so far.

Zero barked, wagging his tail happily. "Yeah, it's a good idea for Zero, isn't it?" Kohana chuckled. "Anyways, let's go~" He wasn't going to comment on the amazing writer thing, seeing as he was just going to let Lance say what he wanted to.
