Logan helped to gently pick Sophie up. "I'm sorry Sophie. I couldn't let it escape." Logan said quietly. He carried her to the infirmary and gently laid her on a table.
Jean grabbed some anesthesia and looked down at Sophie. "I'm going to knock you out Sophie. You wont feel as much pain as I work on you." He connected Sophie up to an IV and gave her the anesthesia. Jean worked on Sophie for several hours and by early morning she looked to see Logan nodding in and out of consciousness but still sitting by Sophie holding onto her hand. Jean gently shook Logan's huge shoulder. "Logan. Logan go to bed. Sophie is going to be fine. She just needs time and rest."
Logan flinched at Jean's touch and blinked up at her. "How's she doing?" He asked quickly. He looked at Sophie with concern and guilt.
"She's fine. Go to bed. It's early in the morning and you've been up almost all night. I'll watch her." Jean told Logan.
"No, It's my fault she's like this. I need to stay with her." Logan protested.
"Logan. Go to bed! You need your rest. You can come and see her later now go upstairs and get some rest. It does nobody any good if your passing out in a chair in the infirmary." Jean practically pushed Logan out of the infirmary and watched as the doors shut behind him.
Logan Couldn't say another word before Jean had pushed him out of the infirmary. He sighed and groggily headed to the elevator. When he reached the doors opened he stumbled out and headed down the halls towards his room. That's when he heard Ororo scream. He ran as fast as he could without tripping to her room and opened the door? "What's wrong?" He asked when he saw Ororo sitting up in her bed and screaming.
Hugh smiled at Toruma. "My dreams started out great and then slowly evolved into a nightmare." He said.
