Vitaily winced as she heard the wolf's claws scraping the cave floor as it left, but at least it was gone now. She lifted her head slowly, making sure the beast wasn't just further back in the cave. Her eyes were wide, and she was still shaking to much to speak.

"Listen, I don't want to kill you, and neither does that wolf. But I also don't want allies. So beat it, or I'll kill you." Darren said.

(Darren: No! He wanted me dead because a career killed his father! He wanted revenge! And you being allies with him...I WANT you dead now.)

Vitaily stood, but hesitated to leave the cave. "You're certain that thing is gone?" She said, wondering why in the world this boy was letting her go like this. He didn't owe her a thing, and she wasn't in a position to hurt him in any way. "Why do you bring up alliances now?" She added to her earlier question. It seemed odd, the thought of an alliance. You'd just have to kill them later anyways.

Darren's eyes go watery. "Because I had an alliance, with a boy I was forced to be allies with and the girl I loved. I betrayed the girl, but it might have been the difference between her life and death, and the girl Betrayed me. Racheal means nothing to me now" he says. "I'm done with allies. So if you don't BEAT IT I'll use my knife!"
