Nico pulled out his sword when the man came near, and he took a step back, closer to the hellhound that was acting like the man was going to play fetch with her.
"Nico di Angelo." Nico said. "Who are you?"


((By the way, Nico is about 14.))

Legolas relaxed a bit, lowering his bow but still ready to shoot an arrow if necesary.
"I am Legolas, from Middle Earth" he looked at the boy curiously " Are you from this world, or did you get caught up in the flash of light?"
The dry leaves crunched as he turned around.
"We are going to a mountain, to get out of this world. If you like you can join us" the elf began walking towards the camp, taking great care in not taking an eye of the boy, in case he would attack.

"The light." Nico said, slowly lowering his sword. "I came from the Underworld."
Mrs. O'Leary barked again, bounding up to the elf, and sniffing him.

Legolas turned around again. Underworld? It didn't sound good.
The elf smiled slightly as the dog came over to him, and stroked him lightly, as he watched NIco. He looked sad, but Legolas couldn't make out what was troubling him so much. Maybe he missed his family? After all, the boy did look rather young.

Mrs. O'Leary licked Legolas with her huge toung, tail wagging.
"Mrs. O'Leary, down!" Nico snapped at the dog when it tried to jump. She stopped and looked back at Nico, trotting over to him and licking him instead, much to his annoyence.

Legolas raised an eyebrow as he wiped his face with the back of his sleeve. Then he chuckled.
" Why don't you come to the camp? We have food and a fire for the night" he began walking at a swift pace to the clearing, and sat down next to the fire.

Nico followed him, a little nervously. But after reminding himself that he could raise an army of the dead if needed, he followed. his hellhound followed happily.

Rytlock

Rytlock saw legolas returning with another person. ''so whos the latest addition?'' he asked lazing against a tree.

"Nico, from the underworld" Legolas walked into the clearing and kneeled down near the fire, adding a few new sticks as it was dying down. The elf then picked up his bow and examined it closely, hoping it wasn't damaged from the fight with the snakes. Luckily it wasn' t.
He sat next to the fire and noticed that Rytlock was still cutting the trees. He scowled and bit his lip.
"Please don't do that. The trees are nearly alive in some places. They can trap you in their roots and they could come upon us in our sleep, at least in my world" he put the fire out " Now I am noticing something different, and I think it is that. The trees are noticing our presence, and they are angry" he spoke softly but firmly "We have to go through this forest, so it is better to be friends with it"

"Friends with trees?" Nico rose an eye brow. "No one I know, other then Grover and other satyrs, are friends with trees. Tree nymphs are mean."
